Crytek announced that the first DLC of Crysis 3, The Lost Island, is now available on PC and X360. Available in the US from today (June 4) and the rest of the world tomorrow (June 5), The Lost Island DLC invites players to compete on the new Ascent, Coastline, Creek and Crossing multiplayer maps; trying their hand at the new ‘Frenzy’ and ‘Possession’ game modes at the same time. This DLC will become available to all PS3 users tomorrow.
In Crysis 3: The Lost Island, traces of a mysterious alien presence have been discovered on a small island in the Philippines 200 miles from Ling Shan. Rebel forces have been dispatched to destroy this unknown extraterrestrial entity before an elite CELL team has the chance to obtain it… by any means necessary.
Crysis 3: The Lost Island features new online multiplayer experiences for Crysis 3 including four, brand-new multiplayer maps and two completely new multiplayer modes, Possession and Frenzy as well as two new weapons to battle online within a tropical island location off the coast of Ling Shan.
This DLC is available for 1200 Microsoft points on X360, and for £11.99 on PC and PS3.
