The Farm 51 has announced that Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone will be coming to Steam Early Access on March 6th. To celebrate this announcement, the team has also shared the game’s story trailer, which you can find below.
Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is a post-apocalyptic action RPG. The game aims to combine exploring a huge, realistic open world with tough combat, crafting, and managing your team and base. The story will also change based on your choices. You play as a planewalker, traveling through different worlds to find a powerful material called Chernobylite. Stuck in the Zone, cut off from the rest of the world, you’ll have to fight against terrifying creatures and survive. Your goal is to gather the last survivors and work together to make it out alive.
Players will explore the large and realistic open world of the real Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Chernobylite has taken over the area, changing many things, and people are using special technology to protect themselves. In the game, you can create and develop your hero. Your character’s skills and abilities will affect how well you fight and how you talk to others.
In Chernobylite 2, players will fight to survive using advanced hand-to-hand combat or a variety of guns. You can also sneak around to avoid enemies or ask others for help. The game lets you build a team and develop your base. At the base, you can make useful items and upgrade your weapons. You can also assign tasks to your team so they can take care of your equipment and supplies.
It’s worth noting that after a huge backlash, the game will have both first-person and third-person viewpoints. This is something that may please the fans of the first title. Still, I’m not that excited about the game’s overall direction. But hey, that’s just me.
Finally, you can check out its official PC system to see if your PC can run it.
Enjoy!
