Capcom has just detailed the next major title update for Dragon’s Dogma 2 that will be released on PC later this month. And, in case you’re wondering, no. This patch will not bring any significant performance improvements or CPU optimizations. Moreover, there is still no word on when the game will support DLSS 3 Frame Generation.
I really don’t know what the Japanese team is smoking. One of the major issues of DD2 is its performance. Even on high-end PC systems, you need DLSS 3 Frame Generation. I’ve completed the game with the DLSS 3 Mod and I can wholeheartedly say that DLSS 3 FG is a game-changer in this particular title. And what happened to the promised CPU improvements? But hey, I guess the option to zoom in on the faces of your characters and Pawns is more important than performance. Man, what a trainwreck.

Anyway, this upcoming patch will fix issues where the player could be jailed when fighting monsters in towns. It will also improve overall stability by fixing some crashes.
From the looks of it, Capcom has focused on the game’s Pawns for this update. According to the changelog, there are numerous adjustments to the Pawns’ behavior and dialogue. So, for instance, the update will make your Pawns less likely to fall off cliffs. It will also reduce the frequency of some Pawn dialogue lines. Plus, it will make your Pawns more likely to aid your Arisen.
There is currently no ETA on when this patch will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Before closing, I highly recommend using these mods for DD2. These mods will greatly enhance your gaming experience, and they are a must. At least in my opinion. So, you can get this mod that improves its mouse camera movement. Another mod adds a cool lock-on combat mechanic. Then we have the Save Manager Mod which is a must-have mod. This mod allows you to start a new game, create multiple characters, and have an unlimited number of save files for each character. Let’s also not forget this mod that improves the quality of Ray Tracing, and reduces its smearing side effects. Oh, and you can download a free DLSS 3 Mod. There is also this mod that adds teleport waypoints to all major locations. Finally, you can get some 4K Texture Packs from here and here!

Capcom isn’t interested in fixing CPU problems because they already got your money.
Gamers should learn to control their impulses and don’t buy games at day one. If the industry must crash so that studios learn to deliver quality products (a game Is a product) so be it.
Problem is, the general public, especially gamers, are mentally children. I’ve seen so many posts where people will reee at comments suggesting to not preorder games (including this one). They all reek of that “$%^& you dad, you can’t tell me what to do!!!” vibe. Some also get incredibly defensive about their own purchases, as if they subconsciously know they’re wrong but they won’t admit it, even on comments that aren’t personally calling them out. This consumer culture has completely gone off the rails, and it’s going to take nothing short of a depression that’s bad enough to lead to mass starvation to wake people up.

Did you know that Nazis used calipers to measure foreheads and nose sizes and distance between eyes of Germans that they suspected of being part Jewish but weren’t sure. There were actual charts and diagrams that they went by and Hitler……well he fit those measurements as part Jewish.

Ok so he shares some rudimentary measurements with jewish features but that still doesn’t make him one. There are plenty of Anglos that have atypical Anglo features (like dark hair and brown eyes).
There are also plenty of books, articles, etc. that detail his ancestry pretty well, and none of those conclude he’s jewish. Like I said, it’s disinformation to muddy the waters. It’s widely known that Hitler’s grandmother was Jewish so yes he was a Jew and no this doesn’t piss off Jews, why would it? To understand why most Germans held Hitler in a such reverence you have to look the times in Germany. WWI was blamed on Germany by the Allies when it wasn’t Germany’s fault. The reparations forced on Germany after WWI to France was crippling their economy. Millions were unemployed with no hope of ever finding a job. Millions of Germans were going hungry. The times were desperate.
Hitler came to power not only by offering Germans hope but putting an end to the crippling reparations payments. He literally turned the average German citizen’s life around from hopeless to abundance and a bright outlook on the future. How could you not love a strong leader like that?
WWII was really just a continuation of WWI due to the stupidity of the Allies and would never have happened had it not been for their harsh and unfair treatment of Germany after WWI. President Truman knew this and made certain that Germany would not be punished so severely after WWII.

For fixing CPU problems, they need to rewrite tons of code so it’s probably never happening. Maybe removing denuvo in future will help but not much.
