Top Hat Studios has announced that its anime parkour action-adventure, MotorSlice, will be released on PC on May 5th. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared a trailer and a playable demo.
In MotorSlice, players will assume the role of P. They will also partner up with a mysterious malfunctioning Orb Drone, and embark on the daily routine of a ‘Slicer’.
The game promises to have fluid, acrobatic parkour gameplay. Players will be able to climb, run, and slide their way around. They can climb massive, heavy machines in epic boss fights and chainsaw them apart. Furthermore, MotorSlice promises to have a brutal, fast-paced combat system.
Players will be able to traverse liminal spaces and parkour through brutalist landscapes. The game will have a minimalist atmospheric adventure, with hardcore challenges. Plus, you will be able to solve puzzles with physics-oriented objects.
According to the devs, the game will also have “slice-of-life” story segments about P’s reflections on being a girl doing a routine job in a megastructure. Finally, it will have pixelated modern low-poly graphics and an atmospheric DnB/Jungle OST by Pizza Hotline.
You can go ahead and download the demo from Steam.
Have fun!
