Modder ‘XilaMonstrr’ has released a new 8K Texture Pack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. This 8K pack enhances the textures of the Majestic Landscapes Mod.
For those unaware, Majestic Landscapes is a landscape texture pack that aims to reduce transition visibility. Its original version featured a mix of 2K and 4K in old BC3 compression. However, thanks to XilaMonstrr, gamers can now use an 8K version of it.
In order to showcase the visual improvements, the modder shared the following GIFs. So, before downloading it from here, you can at least see what you can expect from it.
We should also note that this isn’t the first 8K Texture Pack we’ve shared for Skyrim. In October 2021, we shared a pack that overhauled the game’s fortresses. Then, in August 2022, we posted an 8K pack that improved the textures of caves. You can also find an 8K Mod that adds 13 new Dragon species at 50 spawn points. And then we have this pack that improves the textures of ice surfaces.
