In September 2022, we shared a video showcasing Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered in first-person mode. And today, we are happy to report that this FP Mod is available for download. However, there is a catch here.
Instead of releasing it for free to everyone, modder ‘jedijosh920’ has put this mod behind a Patreon-wall. As such, you’ll have to become one of their Patreon members in order to download it. And, I get it. It took them a lot of work to create and polish this mod. However, we are always against paid mods.
In order to celebrate its release, jedijosh920 shared a new trailer for it. This trailer features both cut-scenes and in-game sequences in first-person mode. Thus, it will give you an idea of what you can expect from it. And yes, this first-person mod will make some of you dizzy.
Speaking of mods for Spider-Man Remastered, you can also try the following ones which are free. There is a mod that introduces a “Batman: Arkham” over-the-shoulder camera. Then we have this other one that brings back the original PS4 Peter Parker face to the game.

I think the mod looks great, I would not play the game in Third Person, against Spider-butt being shoved in my face constantly. But paying for a Mod that is not first-party with no guarantee of future support… not buying.
