Fallout 4 8K Texture Pack for bricks-1

Fallout 4 just got a brand new 8K Texture Pack

Modder ‘Gorgulla’ has released a brand new 8K Texture Pack for Fallout 4 that overhauls the bricks of all buildings and interiors. This 8K pack is for those who have enough VRAM and want to enjoy more detailed textures. But what about those with less than 8GB of VRAM? Well, good news as there are also 4K and 2K versions of it.

Going into more details, this 8K Texture Pack for Fallout 4 has physically correct albedo that works with the normal to give the correct light bounce. Furthermore, the pack has baked Ambient Occlusion on the Albedo to make realistic shadows where they are supposed to be. Not only that but it has the same color profile to make sure it fits with the LOD on distance. And finally, these new textures support Complex Parallax.

In theory, this 8K Texture Pack for Fallout 4 should be compatible with the other packs that we’ve shared. Thus, you should be able to use it alongside this pack that overhauls all armor and clothes. It should also be compatible with this 4K Pack that overhauls all robots. You should also be able to use it with this pack that improves almost all of its creatures, as well as with this mod that adds 10 thousand trees.

On the other hand, if you don’t fancy downloading different packs, you can go ahead and download this 43GB Texture Pack that improves all of the game’s textures. Needless to say, though, this latest texture pack may not be compatible with it.

You can download this 8K Texture Pack for Fallout 4 from here. Below you can also find some screenshots that showcase some of the overhauled textures.

Lastly, here is a bonus pack for you. Created by modder ‘Daisuke’, this pack adds some high-quality thematic posters to your settlement

Enjoy!

  1. “43 gb texture pack”

    wow.

So, how long it takes for fallout 4 to run out of memory and crash with that texture pack?

    1. Why don’t you try the mod “Buffout 4” which resolves such memory issues by replacing the game’s memory allocator with the Intel TBB memory allocator, and improves FPS and performance.

        1. There are mods for most Bethesda games that replace the memory allocator, however not all of them react well to it. I think New Vegas is one of the ones that tends to crash when you replace the memory allocator.

That being said, there’s an ENBoost based memory patch to fix crashes for New Vegas available on NexusMods. You should also use a tool to enable the large address aware flag for the game to allow it to use more than 2GB of RAM.

          1. I only recall the game having crashing problems when using mods with broken/corrupt meshes. It always plays fine for me, even without the ENBoost memory patch.

  2. 43 GB for flat brics, Bugthesda engine will choke to death multiple time of that amount of data.

      1. Actually it does, if you really wanna benefit from it, no sh*t the upscalled textures will look good on even 1080p einstein, but its just a waste

        1. What an asinine reply. Your ignorant self admits even at only 1080p it would look better. Only someone with the IQ of a fishstick would complain about the existence of an 8k texture mod just because they think it is a waste for them personally. If it does not interest you to have extremely high res textures then STFU instead of making idiotic comments.
