Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla fans, we have some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that modder PureDark has just released a new DLSS 3 Frame Generation Mod for it. The bad news is that this is a paid mod.
Thanks to this mod, PC gamers will be able to enable DLSS 3 Super Resolution and Frame Generation in this AC game. This can greatly improve performance, especially for PC gamers who own an RTX40 series GPU.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was an AMD-sponsored title that got support for FSR 1.0. Yep, Ubisoft only added support for the first version of FSR, which is kind of a bummer.
It’s also worth noting that the mod adds support for DeepDVC. DeepDVC is basically RTX Dynamic Vibrance (or at least that’s what the modder claims). So, alongside DLSS 3, you can also enable DeepDVC.
To showcase the benefits of this mod, PureDark shared the following video. So, be sure to watch it if you are not interested in downloading it.
From what I know so far, PureDark does not plan to ever release this DLSS 3 Mod for free. So, we might have to rely on other modders for alternatives. Realistically, though, I don’t expect any modder to go into the trouble and mod DLSS 3 to this, somehow, old title.
Speaking of Frame Generation Mods, you might also want to check these out. For instance, you can download these free DLSS 3 Mods for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Dying Light 2, Elden Ring and Lies of P. Then we have the FSR 3.0 mods for Palworld, The Last of Us Part I and Dead Space Remake. Sadly, these mods are still behind a Patreon wall. Earlier this year, we also shared DLSS 3 Frame Generation Mods for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Dragon’s Dogma 2. And then have the DLSS 3 Mods for Baldur’s Gate 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Stop advertising bloody paid mods talk about promoting robbery.
PureDark is a pretty awesome dude, he puts more than 40 hours a week into making his mods full time. He is very active on his discord and always chimes in to help you troubleshoot if you’re having issues. So you’re saying he should simply not be paid for his work? If this stuff was so easy to do for free, why don’t you release a DLSS3 mod yourself?
A single payment of $5 to add DLSS3 to games like BG3 was absolutely worth it for me, there are very few people intelligent enough with enough dedication to actually hack frame generation into existing games that will never get official support.
A better investment would be to buy Lossless Scaling from Steam and get boosted performance on every game ever instead of paying modders for individual games.

What a waste of fuqin time.
Where to download this for free?
I know this is a controversial title in the series but would a fan recommend this game at all? I see it on sale a lot and I feel like it would be something interesting to play when there’s nothing else to do at the price it drops down to ever so often.
If you like roleplaying as a Viking, sure. The game has great England, Norway as well as Mytholigical parts.
There is even a fun mode where you build up your viking town.
it does seem like theres fun to be had thank you.
I liked Black Flag, Origins, and Odyssey. I also enjoyed the 2 hour demo of Mirage. Valhalla bored me within 4 hours, apparently, I didn’t even get to the parts people say are boring/repetitive. Mine is just one opinion though…
Those are the 3 best games in the series. I’ve played them all except the 1st one and Unity and Valhalla are the 2 I liked the least. I can’t see even bothering with DLSS3 in this game since they only way I could get it remotely stable was locking it to 60 FPS and even then on the England map I’d crash every 8 hours on average. It is the least stable game I currently have installed on my computer. even Skyrim with 800+ mods is more stable than I could ever get Valhalla to be and I go over 100 hours between crashes on Origins and Odyssey.
That doesn’t even take into account the frustrations of the gameplay loop like sticking every f**king chest (likely over 300 of them) behind a stupid puzzle and a lot of content you may as well just skip. Unlike Origins and Odyssey there are zero interesting side quests, in fact no side quests at all just some “mysteries” and “world events” that take 5 minutes and have zero depth. After a while all the main story quests feel the same. If all you care about is melee fighting it’s OK but the bows (It takes 5 button presses just to switch bows in the middle of combat) and the assassin stealth are just broken. I think there are only 8 armor sets in the entire game unless you want to shell out $10 apiece in their store. The armor, weapons, engravings (runes) and combat are all a downgrade from Odyssey

I tried AC1 and AC3 but never really liked them a ton. The last trio they did with more rpg elements had me interested but Valhalla’s look feels like something i’d enjoy.
I agree that Valhalla also looks like the sort of game I would enjoy, but once I started playing it I felt differently. I liked the stealth/combat balance in Origins/Odyssey, but strongly disliked the “axe play” combat in Valhalla. I got similar feelings (for different reasons) when I played DMC5 and Bayonetta 3 (looked interesting, but didn’t like the button mashing / attention-deficit bling-bling-boom gameplay). However, if you do want to take the plunge, you can get the Valhalla + Fenyx Rising bundle + add ACII or ACI for ~£16 minus ~£8 = £8 in total (or equivalent in your currency) using the code LEGEND24 on the Ubisoft store. You could also consider the Watchdogs Legion + Valhalla bundle + ACI or ACII for just a few pennies more.
thank you, Ill definitely give it a try
Great, let us know what you think. It is a good deal.
With LSFG being a thing now, and not only working for PC games, but for emulators as well; hope everyone pirates LSFG so that f*ggot (((PureDark)))’s mods become unprofitable for *it* and all the brain dead buyfags who gave that subhuman their money realize that *it* has been robbing them for all of these years with *its* cheap, rytarded, brain dead, copy-pasted 5 minute paint job DLSS “mods” and eventually goes bankrupt.
F*ck that ching chong scammer who literally invented DRM for mods and ANYONE who locks mods behind paywalls!
Imagine being a 5-year-old born to parents who $h!t money and being so much of a buyfag with an IQ of a brain dead pRedditor and have no idea what to do with that hard earned money so you burn them on mods that should’ve been free in the first place. Hope you f*ggots feel the literal definition of getting robbed now.
If modding DLSS3 was so easy why didn’t you do it and become rich?
Just get a job, honey. It’s not that hard.
Your local mackies is hiring.
I have a job, I don’t want to spend my hard earned money on some useless $h!t that should’ve been free in the first place, you child grooming c**ksucking pedophile buyfag.
Based on the way they act in comments sections, it might actually be hard for them to get and keep a job. They can’t even string a coherent sentence together that isn’t filled with school-playground level insults. They slag off coders for being “brain dead”, but I suspect they’ve never written a line of code themselves. I guess it’s sad that their life must be so bad for them to have come out that way.
God forbid if you pay someone $5 for literally thousands of hours of work. Oh wait, I know! I have the perfect political system you’d be a huge fan of, where everyone works for free. It’s called Communism, the solution to your anti-capitalist agenda.
Capitalism & Communism = Jewish feces 💩💩💩
PureDark SuX!…its a Pain in the A*s for the Modding Community!
This little B*tch dont understand what pc modding is, and how it grows!
Peace!
For cripes sakes, you pay $5 one time and get DLSS2 and DLSS3 mods for over 20 games and counting …… Seems like a good deal to me especially since when I was working (I retired 2 weeks ago) it took me about 6 minutes to earn $5
People pay more than that for a cup of frigging coffee …..
