Not only that, but the viewpoint is way better than the one that was featured in Shift 2: Unleashed. Deep Silver and X1 Software/AWAR today released a new trailer for the upcoming tactical shooter “Iron Front – Liberation 1944”. In Poland in the summer of 1944, soldiers march through fields, pass villages and hide in woods. The Red Army and the Wehrmacht prepare for the battles of the Soviet Offensive, which played a crucial part in Germany’s defeat in the Second World War. The video shows how the infantry of both sides prepare for their convergence. The game features not only a realistic and extensive campaign based on the historical events of the Soviet Offensive in 1944, but also authentic replications of weaponry and warplanes. “Iron Front – Liberation 1944” will be available exclusively for the PC from May 25, 2012. Now this is really awesome. Back in the days, I was a die-hard console fan and loved my SNES. And no, I don’t mind admitting it as I strongly believe that consoles and PCs can co-exist. Star-Fox was one of my favourite games and like most of its fans, I’d really love to see a remake of it. And have you ever wondered how it would look like in current-generation consoles and PC? Well, time to find out as YouTube’s member ‘rickonami’ uploaded a CGI remake of the game’s intro sequence. Although this is a CGI, its visuals can be easily achieved by current generation games and Nintendo should definitely consider a remake of it. Imagine a remake of Star-Fox as a Wii U launch title. Bloody hell, I’d buy it. As this is not going to happen though, enjoy for the time being this CGI remake. Deep Silver released today the launch trailer of Risen 2: Dark Waters. In Risen 2: Dark Waters, the Inquisition dispatches the hero to seek a remedy against the monstrous sea creatures that are interfering with the shipping lines, thus cutting off the islands’ supplies. The pirates seem to know how to deal with these critters… but they are hardly cooperative. The game is slated for release tomorrow on the PC and on August 3rd for consoles. Enjoy!
