Sony Online Entertainment has released a new trailer for their upcoming MMOFPS, Planetside 2, that showcases the game’s aerial combat. Although this is alpha footage, it looks gorgeous and polished enough. It’s ironic, but the alpha stage of Planetside 2 looks more impressive than the final status of other projects. Double Fine amd SEGA have officially revealed The Cave. The Cave is the latest project from Ron Gilbert and looks similar to Frozenbyte’s Trine series, albeit a bit more cartoon-ish. This is a 2D perspective puzzle adventure platform with 3D visuals and looks quite promising. The game draws inspiration from Gilbert’s earlier work on PC adventure games and it should not be confused with Double Fine Adventure, the company’s other adventure game that raised over $3 million on Kickstarter earlier this year. City Interactive has released the pre-E3 trailer for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. Powered by CryENGINE3, gamers at this year’s show will get to go hands-on with the only game dedicated to delivering a pure sniper experience. Well, at least that’s what its press release reads. Metro: Last Light’s live action trailer is meant to be officially released in around 19 hours. However – and like most things nowadays – it got leaked and below you can find the full short film. The video is in Russian and there are no subtitles as of right now. THQ has put a lot of effort into it and it does look solid, so kudos to them.
