PC Exclusive “Reset” Gives Us A Taste Of What Next-Gen Visuals Are Meant To Be

Reset

When Theory Interactive released its debut trailer for Reset, a lot of people could not believe the image fidelity achieved by this indie title. How could an indie title rival all other triple-A games? Was that even possible? Well, today we got the first gameplay trailer of Reset, proving that what was showcased a couple of months ago was not pre-rendered stuff. Yes yes, there is noticeable aliasing and unfortunately the flashlight does not cast shadows (something that hopefully will get addressed). Apart from that, though, everything else is as good as that amazing debut trailer. Enjoy! Continue reading PC Exclusive “Reset” Gives Us A Taste Of What Next-Gen Visuals Are Meant To Be

Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Sunrise Is A Surprisingly Well Made Fan Film

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 v3

Guillermo De Oliveira has just informed us about a new short fan film – created by him and Javier Esteban – based on Activision’s acclaimed shooter, Call of Duty. In this short, captain Price and Soap are called to kill – or capture alive –  Alexander Petrovich, a man who has been working with Makarov. Enjoy! Nvidia Tech Videos Try To Illustrate The Difference Between G-Sync & V-Sync

Nvidia G-SYNC

During its recent press event, Nvidia tried to illustrate the difference between G-Sync and V-Sync. As you may already know, G-Sync cannot be captured via regular cameras. Therefore, Nvidia claimed that a perfect V-Sync video (constant 60fps v-sync) is what G-Sync basically offers, even when the actual in-game framerate drops at 40fps. In order to showcase the huge difference, the green team compared the simulated G-Sync experience with a ‘real-world’ V-Sync experience, and PCGamesHardware was able to captured two examples from this comparison.
