Konami has released a new set of screenshots for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is the sequel to 2010’s Castlevania title, and builds on its critically acclaimed predecessor in every way. Following extensive consultation with Castlevania’s enviable fan base, the sequel expands upon the acclaimed epic with a new storyline, villains and visuals. Unreal Engine 4 Showcased Via A Fan-Made Project

Polycount’s member ‘Snefer‘ is currently working on a new project that is powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 4. As Snefer noted, this project is inspired mainly by roman and also renaissance architecture, with a bit of leeway to the fantasy side. This Is What Metro: Last Light Could Look Like In CRYENGINE – #Part 2

CRYENGINE modder ‘carlos333′ has finished his map that is inspired by 4A GAmes’ Metro: Last Light, and you can find below the last batch of screenshots from it. Although the modder called this project is done, we can still notice some ‘graphical’ anomalies. For instance, ambient occlusion has not been used, giving a flat look. Textures could also benefit from some SweetFX sharpening love as they look low-res. Nitpicks, we know, but these little details could improve the IQ of this map. Enjoy! Project CARS – New Stunning Screenshots Released

Slightly Mad Studios has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming racer, Project CARS. As the company noted, all shots show purely in-game footage that has not been made in any special photo mode, using no post-processing or filters that aren’t available during the actual gameplay. Metro: Last Light – SweetFX vs Vanilla Comparison

We are currently in the process of writing our ‘Top 10 PC Optimized Games of 2013’ article and – as you may have guessed – we are replaying almost all games with their latest patches in order to find out whether developers have fixed/addressed anything at all. One of these games is Metro: Last Light and as we’ve already said in our ‘Performance Analysis’ article, 4A GAmes’ FPS suffers from a number of low-res textures. So, time to find out whether or not we can boost the game’s visuals via SweetFX.
