E3 is long gone but there was something that was not covered by – pretty much – anyone and that was the amazing Video Games Live Concept. Music can be as mesmerizing as those vast environments of Skyrim or Crysis 2, and listening to some of the best video game themes live is one hell of experience. New screenshots and videos from the Doom 3 ‘Prometheus’ map

Bladeghost, creator of the promising Prometheus mod/map for Doom 3, has released some new screenshots and videos from it. Keep in mind that this project is being made by a single map and it’s still in early stage. This map has potential, however it’s really obvious that it still needs a lot of work. Risen 2: Dark Waters – PC Demo Released

Better late than never I guess. Piranha Bytes has released a demo for the PC version of Risen 2: Dark Waters that can be downloaded from Steam. Risen 2 is an interesting action RPG, although we expected more from Piranha Bytes. Oh, and the game has been dumbed down – compared to the first Risen. And the combat system is not as deep or polished as we’d hoped to. In other words, it’s not up to Piranha Bytes’ standards and you can try it for yourselves to see whether we are right or not. Incoming video for BeamNG’s mind-blowing CryEngine 3 physics system, teaser screenshot revealed

Remember that mind-blowing CryEngine 3 video that showcased some amazing, revolutionary soft-body physics? Well, BeamNG has been hard at work and will present – in approximately two weeks – a new video from the latest build of their physics system. Beam physics system has been implemented in CryEngine 3 and can calculate physics at 100fps. In addition, the company released a teaser screenshot that can be viewed below. Square Enix trademarks “Seekers of Adoulin” , incoming expansion/add-on for Final Fantasy XI

Seems that a new expansion/add-on is underway for Square Enix’s MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI as Square Enix has trademarked ‘Seekers of Adoulin’. In case you’re unaware of, Adoulin is a small island off the west coast of the Quon continent in Final Fantasy XI, therefore we can safely assume that ‘Seekers of Adoulin’ will either be an expansion or an add-on for Final Fantasy XI. Assassin’s Creed III – PC version comes out on November 23rd

We know that some of you will get mad with this news but… well… it was to be expected, right? According to Assassin’s Creed III: Join or Die Edition’s promotional, the PC version of Ubisoft’s third-person action adventure game will be released on November 23rd, almost a month after the console release. BioWare and Electronic Arts have just announced that the highly anticipated free DLC of Mass Effect 3, Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut, will hit consoles and PC this Tuesday, June 26th. Dreamworks behind the wheel of the Need for Speed movie; hits theaters in 2014

DreamWorks Studios has acquired the feature film rights to EA’s popular video game franchise, Need for Speed, it was announced jointly today by DreamWorks CEO and Co-Chair Stacey Snider and EA President of Studios Frank Gibeau. Brothers George and John Gatins developed the original story with George writing the feature’s screenplay.
