Mortal Kombat 11 promises to be better on the PC than Mortal Kombat X but beta won’t launch for it

In an interview with PCGamer, Mortal Kombat 11’s Lead Designer Paulo Garcia claimed that the PC version will be better optimized than Mortal Kombat X. Bioware details the differences between the demo and the final version of Anthem

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 promises to run faster in DirectX 12 + new screenshots

In an interview with PCGamesHardware, Ubisoft’s Technical Director Calle Lejdfors revealed that Tom Clancy’s The Division, like its predecessor, will support DirectX 12 alongside DirectX 11. Furthermore, and contrary to games like Resident Evil 2 Remake, it is said that the DX12 mode will run better/faster than DX11. Quake 1.5 beta is available for download, expands campaign, adds gore, new enemies and more

Earlier this week we shared a trailer for Quake 1.5 and today we are happy to report that its debut beta version is available for download. Quake 1.5 is a Darkplaces addon mod for the original Quake that utilizes Seven’s SMC 5.30 as a base and has been expanded to include new features such as weapons, gore, and enemies. Mod enables real-time ray tracing RTX effects in Quake 2 for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs

Back in October 2018, we informed you about the Path Tracing mod for Quake 2 that could run on the new high-end gaming graphics card from NVIDIA, the GeForce RTX2080Ti. Unfortunately, though, that Path Tracing renderer could not take advantage of the RT cores, resulting in really low performance. Thankfully though, a group of people has released a new special version that takes advantage of the RTX GPUs.
