Project CARS – New Gorgeous Community Screenshots

Slightly Mad Studios has released some new, gorgeous looking community screenshots for its upcoming racer, Project CARS. What’s important here is that – for the first time – we get to see the destructibility model for various cars, as well as the rain spray effects. As always, the following screenshots show purely in-game footage that has not been made in any special photo mode with no post-processing or filters that aren’t available during the actual gameplay. Resident Evil 6 – Ada Wong Campaign & Agent Hunt Gameplay Trailers

Capcom announced that a new – fourth – campaign mode will be available in Resident Evil 6, in which players will take the role of Ada Wong. In order to celebrate it, the company released a new gameplay trailer from that campaign that can be viewed below. Furthermore, a new video from the Agent Hunt mode has been revealed. Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield are joined by new characters, including Jake Muller, to face a new horror, the highly virulent C-virus, as the narrative moves between North America, the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia and the Chinese city of Lanshiang. Dishonored’s Voice Cast Revealed – Includes Carrie Fisher, Brad Dourif, Susan Sarandon and Michael Madsen

Bethesda today revealed the all-star cast lending their voices to Dishonored, a new first-person action game from Arkane Studios in which the player takes on the role of Corvo, a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Dishonored will feature an award-winning ensemble including Academy Award winner, Susan Sarandon (“Thelma & Louise,” “Dead Man Walking”), Golden Globe winner, Brad Dourif (“The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, “One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest”), Emmy Award nominees Carrie Fisher (original “Star Wars” trilogy) and John Slattery (“Mad Men”), Michael Madsen (“Thelma & Louise,” “Reservoir Dogs,” “Kill Bill”), and Lena Headey (“300,” “Game of Thrones”). Grid 2 Teased – Coming Summer 2013 – More Information On August 8th

Codemasters has released a teaser trailer for – what looks like – a sequel to Grid. It’s been almost four years since the last Grid title, so we are interested to see what Codemasters has in store for us. Grid got birth from the team that was behind the Toca series. Race Driver: Grid (also known as Grid) was the latest installment in the Toca Touring Car series, a series that evolved to something completely new (as the initial Toca games were classic racing games with circuits). Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – Content Collections #3 and #4 Announced

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season of Content wraps up with the last two Content Collections — Collection #3: Chaos Pack and Collection #4: Final Assault — set to release on the Xbox 360 on August 9 and September 6, 2012 respectively. The Call of Duty: MW3 Collection #3: Chaos Pack, will introduce gamers to the brand new Special Ops Chaos Mode, in addition to offering three all new FACE OFF Maps and four new Special Ops Missions. The final Collection #4: Final Assault will be released on September 6 and deliver five all-new Multiplayer Maps. Today, Ubisoft announced that Anno 2070 Deep Ocean, the add-on to Anno 2070, will release on October 4th, 2012. With over 5 million sales worldwide since its first release, Anno is one of Ubisoft’s best-selling franchises and an award-winning strategy brand. Its latest iteration, Anno 2070, shifted to the future for the first time in the series, offering an island of new technologies and challenges for the player to manage, along with a deep economic system and a dynamic game world. Diablo III Hits 10 Million Registered Players – WoW Drops To 9.1 Million Subscribers

Activision has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2012. According to the reports, Diablo III has managed to sell 8.8 million copies for the six months of its release and more than 10 million players have entered the world of Sanctuary. On the other hand, World of Warcraft’s subscribers number has dropped from 10.2 million to 9.1 million. An impressive number, nonetheless, but this drop is definitely something that worries both Blizzard and Activision. Perhaps the upcoming release of Mists of Pandaria will boost the game’s numbers. MechWarrior Online – Atlas Trailer

Piranha Games has released a new trailer for its upcoming free-to-play mecha game, MechWarrior Online, that concentrates on the Atlas mech. Weighing in at 100 tons, boasting a small ‘Mechs weight in armour, and having two small ‘Mechs worth of weaponry, the Atlas is truly an awe inspiring sight. John Carmack Speaks: 30fps on consoles, 60fps on the PC – Doom 3 levels more taxing than RAGE’s

John Carmack has just revealed in QuakeCon 2012 what we knew all this time. Remember when we were claiming that Doom 3 modded looked better than RAGE? Well, the man himself said that Doom 3 levels were more taxing than the ones of RAGE, especially due to the stencil shadows and its more complex lighting system. This clearly shows that RAGE was dumbed down and was not developed in order to achieve what Doom 3 did a couple of years ago.
