World of Tanks – Update 8.3 Available In Europe, Coming To North America Tomorrow

Wargaming today announced that Update 8.3 for its massively popular MMO action game World of Tanks, complete with the addition of a brand new nation, the Chinese, is now live in Europe and Southeast Asia. North-American players will get the update on January 17, while the Korean audience will start testing the new tech tree starting from January 21. China’s World of Warcraft Theme Park Opens Its Gates

I seriously don’t know who is crazier; Blizzard for not offering WOW’s license to this theme park or China’s organizers for not acquiring the rights? You see, a new theme park opened its gates in China and features big and enormous statues, inspired by Blizzard’s MMO. It also has roller coasters and it will cost you 30$ to get in (so waste no time if you are near Changzhou). And it looks epically amazing. In fact, this could very well be the only theme park I want to visit right now. Since I can’t though, I’ll have to simply rely on mere images to satisfy my need. Last week, we informed you about the alpha version of Half-Life. Since a lot of you will most probably want to check it out but cannot find it on the Internet, we can share below a dev walkthrough, courtesy of YouTube’s member ‘MarphitimusBlackimus’. Ubisoft has released a new update for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed III. This patch will update your game’s version to 1.02 and will be auto-downloaded from UPLAY. Okay, I’m bit embarassed for not informing everyone about the planned sequel to – perhaps the best western RPG – Planescape: Torment. Yes, Torment will be getting a sequel that will be set in the Numenera setting – a pen and paper RPG setting that had been funded through Kickstarter. Diablo III – Patch 1.0.7 Released, Introduces Dueling

Blizzard has released a new patch for its hack n slash aRPG, Diablo III. This patch will update your game’s version to 1.0.7 and introduces dueling. Players will now be able to duel one another in a new zone designed specifically for this style of combat. This zone can be accessed by speaking with Nek the Brawler located at the inn in New Tristram, and supports 2 to 4 players in a Free-For-All format. Hitbox Team, developers of Dustforce, have just revealed their latest indie game called Spire. Spire will be a first person platformer with procedurally generated levels. Contrary to other similar games, though, these levels won’t be randomly generated. Instead, Hitbox plans on implementing an generator with intentional flow for its levels. SEGA and Double Fine Productions announced the launch date and price for the upcoming adventure game, The Cave. Created by legendary game designer Ron Gilbert, The Cave will be available on January 22nd in North America and on the 23rd January in Europe for the PlayStation Network for $14.99/ €12.99/£9.99/ AUD$19.95. On January 23rd, it will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade for X360 for 1200 MSP and Steam for $14.99/ €12.99/£9.99/ AUD$19.95 .
