Success: Riot Games – developers of League of Legends – is against SOPA/PIPA

After Epic Games, Riot Games has gone public and stated that they are against both SOPA and PIPA. This is huge and we hope that more developers will follow the example of these companies. SOPA (and PIPA that has not been mentioned previously) is atrocious and can harm the gaming industry, plain and simple.

Keen Software announced today that the pre-oders for Miner Wars MMO are now available for $19.99 USD in a unique new approach: MMO for one-time purchase with no monthly subscription fees. According to the company, Miner Wars MMO is a massive multi-player online version of the single-player (and cooperative multiplayer) Miner Wars 2081.
