Friday the 13th: The Game had a rocky launch. Thankfully, IllFonic is doing its best to resolve some of its issues and has released a new patch that brings various matchmaking optimisations, as well as security updates to prevent account spoofing.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered rumoured to be releasing on June 27th

It appears that a standalone version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be released on June 27th. This standalone version will be priced at $39.99 and we expect Activision to officially reveal this version later this week.

Last week, TopWare Interactive issued a new update for Two Worlds II that introduced micro-transactions to it. Naturally, this move frustrated some PC gamers and TopWare Interactive has issued an official statement about this.
Dead Alliance – Open beta phase begins on July 27th

Maximum Games has revealed it will host a free multiplayer open beta for the upcoming team-based shooter Dead Alliance from July 27-31. According to the press release, players will face off against opponents and turn zombies into man-eating allies across three multiplayer maps and an assortment of game modes.

Grand Theft Auto IV & Grand Theft Auto V both drop to “Mixed” overall ratings on Steam

After Take-Two shutting down the OpenIV mod for Grand Theft Auto V, a lot of PC gamers decided to flood both GTA V and GTA IV with negative reviews on Steam. As such, the overall rating for both of these titles has dropped to “Mixed” from “Overwhelming Possitive” and “Mostly Possitive”, respectively.
Paradox Interactive has re-evaluated and increased the prices of its games in some regions

It appears that Paradox Interactive has increased the prices of its games in certain regions on Steam. The publisher claimed that this was not an error, it was done intentionally, and it was done in order to match the purchasing power of those areas.

Intel’s new CPUs will be released in a few days and the first gaming benchmarks for its new Intel Core i9-7900X CPU have surfaced. Bit-Tech and Hexus have tested Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Ashes of the Singularity, Hitman, 3D Mark and Total War: WARHAMMER.
