Square Enix showcases next-gen characters in Luminous Engine with Path Tracing

A few days ago, we shared a video showing real-time path tracing effects in the Luminous Engine. Luminous Productions has collaborated with NVIDIA in order to create that path tracing tech demo at CEDEC 2019. However, the team has also presented some truly amazing next-gen characters.

Devil’s Hunt releases on September 17th and 1C Entertainment has provided us with a review code for it. As such, we’ve benchmarked the game in 4K and we are sharing our initial 4K performance impressions. Naturally, we’ve also included below a number of 4K screenshots on Epic/Max settings.

Bioware is currently working on new several other super-secret big projects

In a new blog update, Bioware’s Casey Hudson confirmed that the team is working on several unannounced big projects. While Hudson was unable to give any additional details, he did hint at Dragon Age 4 progressing well. The game is currently in pre-production stage with the Bioware Edmonton team working on it.
