CD Projekt RED has revealed that the promotional campaign for Cyberpunk 2077 is already planned, and that it will relay on a surprise factor. The company did not reveal any additional details, however we kind of expect the first trailer of this game to be released later this year as the game is reportedly coming out in 2018.
As Marcin Kicinski, CD Projekt RED’s CEO, said:
“The promotional campaign (for Cyberpunk 2077) is already planned. It’s main element is the surprise, so I cannot even say when it will begin. Simply because it has to come as a surprise.”
Enjoy the game’s amazing teaser trailer and stay tuned for more!

The entire campaign is going to consist of people dressed as cyborgs hiding in public and then jumping out from behind bushes and punching people in the d!ck.
Then, when the victim is writhing on the ground, the cyborg actors will yell “CYBERPUNK 2077!” and run away.
then another person demands you pre-order or face extermination.
Marketing level 11/10
If the game is as good, hope this marketing works out as well for CDPR as The Witcher’s did…just no graphical downgrades this time please.
im betting it will drop a trailer with blade runner 2049 as it has a similar audience. and release about 6 months after.
At least it has a good director & composer attached to it, though.
Whatever. Show us the gameplay when the time comes and show us that which you are capable of delivering, though with the existence of PS4Pro and Xbone Scorpio I hope that’s something impressive. Also, I certainly hope there are a few ways the extra CPU power of the PCs can utilized. Parity can suk a coke.
“Parity can suk a coke”
good luck finding a dev who’s not going to dumb down their PC version.
specially clown sack of a lying sh*t studio like cd projekt red
we’ll see, they didn’t need to bump anything though, they just had to let things be like they were.
Of all the studios to take a run at, of all the terrible business practices with content cutting for DLC and crazy graphical downgrades and rip off pricing and micro transactions. All of that and you take aim at CDPR? You sir are a moron.
you are a dumb console sheep, your most distinctive attribute is having a low iq, i’d rather see PC gaming near extinction instead of having you console peasants ruin it by bending and take it up the a**
Witcher on PC is a fabulously beautiful game, it’s time to grow up and realise that people like us with very powerful rigs that can hit 60fps at 4K represent a tiny little slice of the gaming market. No one is going to tailor make games for a teeny tiny portion of the public especially when it is made up of ungrateful pissants like you.
“It’s main element is the surprise”
– a full modding suite like CDPR used to provide?
– no downgrades relative to promotional material used throughout the pre-order period?
– a free upgrade to an Enhanced Edition like CDPR once used to do?
It’s been nearly 5 years already, just get on with releasing the game next year CDPR.
Just be creative and give us something fresh not a cod wanna be in a futuristic style.
wut?
wut wut ?
It’s Rely not Relay…. It was used twice incorrectly in this article (once in the title and then again in the body of the article…). Spelling errors (or the incorrect use of language) aren’t an issue in the comments section but the articles should be proofread before being posted… Come on John!
i assure you CDPR wil downgrade and dumb down the gameplay.. because console money is nice
When have they ever dumb-downed the gameplay? Sure they may have downgraded the graphics but gameplay?
Witcher 2.
i’m honestly very skeptical this is still in development without a peep
not even an E3 gameplay demo makes me feel this is 2019 material at best
maybe if Gwent gets so successful they’ll just blizzard their way around their main games
“RELAY”? Guess you meant “RELIE”.
Probably neither in all honesty. He more than likely meant “RELY”.
Somebody call an ambulance – the man is delusional.
After TW3 the marketing team behind CDPR is like ninja level peddlers – they could sel lyou anything. GOTY award for TW3 was like 60% for marketing and 40% for the game. Even if they show some gameplay down the line I wouldn’t expect it not to be dumbed down afterwards. CDPR is no longer what they used to be 10 yesrs ago. Judging by the TW3 situation $$$ bills and all the executive mumbo jumbo is more important to them than making a great game and delivering on your promises.
I can’t believe how much of an ungrateful tool you are mate. Witcher 3 is hands down one of, if not THE best game I have ever seen, they managed to deliver the “great game” you were referring to and it looked beautiful and played well on consoles as well as PC AND it was a real step forward in terms of quest design and characterisation. They did all of this and then delivered two fantastic and completely legit pieces of DLC that added so much unique content. I know it’s cool to rag on game devs for being sell outs but pick your battles because since GTA Online turned Rockstar into complete scum CDPR are the only decent dev we have left and they don’t need entitled punks like you b’tching about them.
If it wasn’t for that evil $$$ that consoles drag in then master race prats such as you would be playing scratchy little 8-bit adventure games and whinging at the stagnation of the gaming industry.
Please do tell me what qualifies as a “great game that delivers on promises” cos I get the feeling you would complain about anything just to seem like you know what you’re talking about.
LOL. How about you educate yourself on CDPR’s own statements on the matter? It’s obvious they downgraded the sh*t for platform parity after Microsoft & Sony raised hell on the matter.
Also, you’re seriously going to pick an argument with the one thing people can just about universally agree upon? Seriously? The E3 gameplay was downgraded. It’s a universally accepted fact.
