New NVIDIA 382.19 hotfix driver addresses PREY’s stuttering issues

NVIDIA has released a new hotfix driver that addresses the stuttering issues that have been reported in PREY. Needless to say that this is a must-have driver for those playing PREY right now (unless of course you have no problem running the previous WHQL version of NVIDIA’s drivers).

Those interested can download this new hotfix driver from here.

This hotfix driver comes with all the features, SLI and 3D profiles found in the 382.05 WHQL driver.

In case you are an SLI owner and still experience issues with this new hotfix driver, you can revert back to the previous WHQL driver and enable SLI via these SLI compatibility bits!

  1. It was really bad on 382.05. I reverted back to older drivers before the fix came out and I have no problems, so I’m not even gonna bother updating.

        1. Damn that’s gay. Everybody said it was a very well optimized game… stutter is a biaachh

          1. It is a really well optimized game though, works really well on lower end rigs.

  2. I don’t understand why drivers are specifically optimized for games. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

  3. These drivers have the best HDR colors, and offer great performance over the previous set. And, they work right away without setting hdr and rebooting for the colors to display properly for the first time.. Finally a hotfix that fixed things! They also updated geforce experience with these drivers. Perf stayed the same with FH3 & BF1, but the image pops more in HDR, and lighting + darkness is more robust. No tinkering around to remove grey/gamma with my 1080 + samsung series 6 curved display.
