    1. On the forums they said this patch fixes the acceleration. I don’t know why it isn’t in the patch notes though.

      1. They didn’t, they said they were investigating it with Patch 1, but so far they haven’t announced a fix. For reference, I looked at the thread titled “[26-08-2016] PC Patch notes for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Patch build 524.10” on the official Square Enix forums. I’ll link in another comment since I’ll have to wait for John to approve the link.

        1. Yes they did say it was fixed. Go look at the known issues thread on the forum.

          “Mouse Acceleration
          Fixed with Patch build 524.10.”

          1. Cool. I had it as 6% with patch 1, but it still felt too high for me. I’ll play around with it later.

          2. yeah. it’s way better now, I was on 0% (!!) and it was still too high for me.
in other shooters it’s always 1/10 of max sens or lower, but this one is way too high.
I do not understand this highsense nonsense in shooters, no one plays with 50% or above, you move the mouse 1 mm and you do a 180 degree turn.

          3. That’s what I do.. I don’t know why I do it. I just keep my mouse sensitivity super high.

      1. yeap, as we’ve already said, there is no mouse acceleration (as some people thought). The mouse simply had different values for its X-axis and Y-axis

    1. Yeah for good price of 9.99$ ! Or on Humble 😀
Now we need to wait for Proper DX12 for it and we are ready to go.
But im on Fury HBM so i have no problems even in 2k

      1. I’m not buying it to direct x 12 support comes out which isn’t until the week of September 5th. But i love story-line driven games and i always loved deus ex so who knows still playing fallout 4 and such to hold me over.

          1. Yes, it’s seamlessly integrated into the main game from whence it was originally cut in order to be sold separately as paid DLC “because it’s a different experience.”

In the Director’s Cut you play through it right before the whole “global conspiracy” plot thing takes off & all the augs go schizo.

      2. Google is paying 97$ per hour! Work for few hours and have longer with friends & family! !iw1026t:
On tuesday I got a great new Land Rover Range Rover from having earned $8752 this last four weeks.. Its the most-financialy rewarding I’ve had.. It sounds unbelievable but you wont forgive yourself if you don’t check it

  1. Will have to test things out when I get off work. Ugh and by the way… Gears of War 4 on PC is using NVIDIA PhysX for Wind Flares or in other words Apex Turbulence

    1. Apex turbulance is nice :). Though i think it’s costly in terms of performance. Just like any gameworks features 🙁 (besides hbao+)

      1. “One of our big features with the game is wind flares, which are basically giant wind storms that can happen at any time during the game, and obviously PhysX helps us realize that inside the game. Typically those things are scripted, but with PhysX and NVIDIA’s technology we can make those systems that we can have anywhere in the game.”

  2. I wish the mouse sensitivity would go a lot lower. I have mine at 0 and its still way to fast, have to lower the DPI on my mouse to compensate, which sucks.

edit: looks like they’ve fixed it 🙂 3% at 800dpi seems about right

  3. Was playing the game, thinking I was halfway through the story, first boss battle, very mediocre and generic one, then the game just suddenly ends lmao.

Literally the most disappointing ending I’ve seen, only beaten by No Man’s Sky galaxy center.

I did every single side mission, read almost every single document, explored a lot, did a lot of stealth, almost no real combat, and it only took me 20h to finish.

Eidos and Square can go f*ck themselves.

Mediocre uninspired story without a good antagonist, even failing to properly tackle all of its serious themes like racism and discrimination ONLY 50% FINISHED.

And best part! Apparently the DLC is supposed to pick up where the game ends, hahahaha.

    1. Yet again paid reviews, there is no way it should have scored as highly as it has.

Yet another half finished but we’ll release it anyway and maybe sell them the rest as DLC average game.

      1. Lol one of the top articles that come up when you search reviews is “First 5h of Deus Ex make a strong case for GOTY”.

    2. And people slammed No Man’s Sky, This in a way takes crap to a whole new level and yes it was downgraded with it. A lot of people totally don’t get No Man’s Sky, it’s about the voyage and story to the centre and exploration, it makes me laugh that people thought there was something special at the end ,when the game was about what’s in between, I bet a lot of people missed the story with the different races as well, why the the drones at everywhere, what’s with the Atlas, go anywhere with no boundaries and think they need to grind all the time. I bet people played No Man’s Sky like a normal grinding , upgrading game, no wondered they got bored quick.

If you asked me, Deus Ex got hyped just as much, same problem, if it doesn’t live up to your expectation you got the same problem, except Deux Ex only lasts upto 20 hours.

    3. The Season Pass is also a giant f*cking ripoff. To quote a Steam Review;

“Ever bought a DLC that only allowed you to redeem your items once?
Not once per save file. Not once per new game.
      Just once and never more.

OH, and BY THE WAY, if you ever redeem your bonus items, your save file becomes locked to your installation. What does that mean? It means if you ever reinstall the game; Install on another machine; or even just change the installation directory from steam; Then your save file won’t work anymore.

Not even joking. This is the brave new world of save file DRM people. Talk about making steam cloud useless.”

    4. 20h? LOOOOOOOOL
15h-20h have Missing Link DLC for DE HR lol
And HR alone with Stealh + Search&Find get you almost 50h 😀
And The Denuvo on top of it (he he You know why)

  4. Not sure what’s happening, but after this patch the weapons dealer at Adam’s apartment turned into a restricted area.

  5. Not a patch on the original game.

Why not just remake the old one with newer visuals if they can’t come up with anything better I’d be happy with that rather than this half finished game. Its like MGS Phantom Pain all over again. What the hell is happening to this industry it’s becoming a farce.

  6. I’m not absolving anyone of their misleading trailers and info, maybe you can’t tell the difference between enjoying a game for what it actually is, avoiding hype and misinformation. Deus Ex is missing leading and hyped, that’s my point, I mean you can hate on No Man’s Sky all you want but you still brought Deus Ex with arguably worse issues with their model in terms of DLC, pay to win in game purchases

I don’t give two f*cks about that video, because I didn’t buy into the hype and so called lies, the game wasn’t even on my radar for buying until a few days before it released. Silly people shouldn’t believe the hype, just like every game in some way or another doesn’t live up to the trailers and gameplay they show. Welcome to marketing, always beware of anything they show or promise in game development.

    1. I didn’t buy sh*t, I played it through Steam share.

      “so called lies”

      >Welcome to marketing, always beware of anything they show or promise in game development.
      >your crusade won’t work against people like me who don’t pre-order and believe tech demos, trailers,

      You’re one slow f*ck aren’t you?

I have never once “believed” in promotional material or promises by developers or companies.
The whole f*cking point is that they are not supposed to be lying to people.
It’s one thing to make pimped out bullshots or unrealistic trailers that have cherrypicked moments, it’s another thing to literally lie about dozens of features and content that is missing from the game.
It doesn’t matter that I don’t believe in what I’m told, if promotional material used to market and sell the game is false, if the developers of the game go around telling lies, they need to be held accountable for it.
      I’m not on a f*cking crusade and I’ve not pre-ordered a game in over half a decade.

You’re never going to stop people from pre-ordering, the only way this will stop is by raising controversy and through legal procedures.
A couple of class action lawsuits for false advertisement and companies will think twice about pulling this.

      1. Don’t call me slow , it’s always the case with you, personal attacks, make a proper argument without them or you don’t have an argument.

Of course they’re not supposed to be lying but people call every day marketing lying while the game is in development, things change in development is not a lie, also if you don’t believe it then why are you arguing for others when it doesn’t affect you? Seems to me you’re just another back seat driver taking the moral high ground.

Good, let’s see if someone can actually prove that the studio intentionally lied about their game in a court. I doubt a judge will ban studio’s trailers that are a vision of the finished game and they can’t talk about feature they haven’t implemented yet.

        1. >make a proper argument without them or you don’t have an argument

As long as I’m not using the insult as an argument I can call you all kinds of names when you say dumb sh*t.

This has nothing about having a high moral ground.

It does affect me because I’m tired of getting sh*tty downgraded games that are nothing but a shell of what was shown.

          >things change in development is not a lie

That’s why you use ambiguous language rather than saying YES IT WILL HAVE X.

He kept saying the game was going to have multiplayer, that you could find and see other players (only way to know what you look like) and interact with them, grief them and be competitive with them.
Every single time he was clear about that.
Then it turned out to be a lie, and best part is, once the game got datamined, it was found that it has absolutely no infrastructure or code to support multiplayer, it wasn’t even something they tried and ditched, straight up lie.

Maybe take a minute to read just how much sh*t he lied about, we aren’t talking about one or two things that got left out, we aren’t even talking about some inconsequential bs. It’s a different game.

          1. “It’s not really a multiplayer game, that’s not really the way to think about it. There are infinitesimal chances, very, very small chances of you even coming across a place that another player has been to . . . The most likely thing that is going to happen is you are going to come across a planet and some other players has been there and they’ve named that planet and the creatures, and I’m sure they’ve given it a good name.”

He actually said this in an interview 2 years prior in regard to naming planets and creatures and the chances of you actually coming across this are so small is probably won’t happen. I think a lot of the blame goes on the interviewers and the media for not pinning him down on things, otherwise the gamers make all sorts of things up in their heads and that’s the problem

            Gamespot March 2016

“I guess we’ve always downplayed multiplayer because it’s not really a multiplayer game”

How can you say it’s a a lie? “it’s not really a multplayer game” but you can come across other people’s names things, but the chanced are very slim because of how the game is generated, it’s just numbers, it’s not on your physical drive, the numbers are.
