Rebellion announced today that its award-winning SNIPER ELITE series has surpassed 10 million units sold worldwide. In order to celebrate this announcement, Rebellion has released a ‘Thank You’ video that can be viewed below.
As the press release reads, since debuting in 2005, SNIPER ELITE has become renowned for its breathtaking tactical shooting and authentic, intense World War 2 gameplay, providing millions of fans with an unrivalled blend of stealth and sniping action.
Rebellion CEO and Co-founder Jason Kingsley said:

I don’t like their Sniper Elite games. I just hate incorporating zombies into WW2 and making a superhero out of that sniper. He can’t even be arsed to wear a helmet!
WW2 feeling in this game is as genuine as in Wolfenstein…

Yeah,maybe next time they will provide us a gameplay with an german soldier from special division Schutzstaffel.We need some diversity in games.

Very good result, congrats to Rebellion team. On horizon is drawning a new sniper game – Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 and its very good looking FPS game. The whole series sold in over 5 million copies. SGW3 will come to the public in next year. There will be a good opportunity to take some little vacations;)
