5 Live Studios announced today that Satellite Reign, the spiritual successor to Syndicate Wars, will be fully released on August 28th. Satellite Reign has been in Steam Early Access since December 2014, and in order to celebrate this announcement 5 Live Studios released a new trailer for it. Enjoy!

Great graphics for Unity.
5 Live Studios made a good decision to move the game from Unity 4 to Unity 5.
Unity devs can’t afford not to upgrade to 5 and hopefully beyond. 5 makes 4 look like UE4 makes UE3 look. More importantly yet, Unity 5 looks comparable to UE4. With a couple minor tweaks you can outshine Unreal games graphically. In Unity 4 just getting things to look passable took the same amount of work.
What? The game is far from finished to put it VERY lightly
If there’s a Beta out ‘in the wild’ likely it’s an older build of the game.
The game has gone out of alpha and into beta, It is now completely playable from start to finish. Their focus is entirely on fixing bugs and improving performance for next months launch, But of course after launch they will continue to support the game with new content and features.
Looking forward to this. I loved Syndicate on my Amiga 2000.
So soon? I haven’t heard news from the game since the kickstarter. Is it any good?
They made regular updates to the game every Friday over the past 7 months in Early Access development. Personally I’m finding it very fun to play and definitely any fans of original Syndicate games will be pleased with this game.
