First Teaser Image for the Next “Need for Speed” Title Revealed

Electronic Arts has released a teaser image for the next installment in its Need for Speed series that will be unveiled tomorrow. Our guess is that this new NFS game is the one that Ghost Games is working on. So here is hoping that this teaser is from the next ‘big’ NFS and not from a new mobile game. Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. i hope this is going back to underground. also.. i hope they don’t lock this game at 30fps like the last one.

      1. yea i don’t know what they were thinking. haha i remember the page up and page down instead of having the option to do it with the mouse.. yea that port was terrible. although.. there was a command for 60 fps unlock that fixed the problem i believe.

        1. it made the game even more unplayable lol
it speeded up the whole game
watch TBs “lets not play NFS rival” video

        2. Sure there was the 60 fps unlock but there in lies the problem. The whole physics speed is tied in with the fps. If you dropped below 60 fps the cars handling, steering, acceleration and everything slows down. Sh*t port.

    1. Agreed i’m not even some 30FPS hater but for FPS and racers it has to be more i mean if not it feels faker then anything.

    1. I don’t think they’ll downgrade this, engine style resembles that of NFS Rivals, so they’re probably using Frostbite again.

  2. I’m truly hoping that it is Underground 3, miss that series, the original Most Wanted and that was fun but the Underground series was the best, it capitalized on the Fast and the furious scene, I’d definitely dig a new UG on Frostbite 3 and actual car modding since there is no Horizon series which really is a pinnacle of Arcade racers.

  3. I hope they make a good PC version this time…
I wonder what went through their head to think that releasing NFS rivals on PC with a 30fps lock was a good idea…
