Rumor: First Just Cause 3 Screenshots Leaked

Xbox-Underground shared today a bunch of screenshots of what seems to be the next instalment in the Just Cause series. According to Xbox-Underground, the following images are from the debug build of Just Cause 3 on Xbox One. Since Avalanche has not confirmed anything yet, we’re marking this as a rumor. And like all rumors, we strongly suggest taking it with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, we’re certain that Just Cause fans will be excited about these new images, so go ahead and enjoy them!

  1. To think that I’ve finished JC2 with only 26% of completion, can’t imagine the scale of the next one (just more interesting stuff to do this time, that would be really nice).

    1. Yeah, me too. I think it was even a lower percentage than yours. Things just got too repetitive too fast, that was the main problem for me.

      1. Agreed, the only thing that makes you do the repetitive side missions is that they unlock the “more varied” main ones, hope they fix it in the next one, because I became quite found of the series (even the awful 1st game).

  2. Looks like Just Cause 2 on PC, the visuals are kind of dated, I am hoping that it is just a console limitation and the PC version will look and play much better, just like 100% of all Multiplats.

  3. Just Cause 2 is still great fun and has a lovely open world, been playing it recently and still love causing chaos and messing around, can’t wait for JC3.

  4. That first image looks terrifyingly like some kind of micro-transaction system. Haha, probably wrong, but anything resembling a diamond or gem nowadays when purchasing in-game items is likely secured behind a pay wall. The time limits of a couple days (I could be wrong and it’s actually in-game days) are also in line with that. I just really hope Just Cause 3 IS on the way. Loved JC2. Maybe they will even implement proper multiplayer, seeing as how the PC mod got so popular.

  5. First screenshot: microtransactions.
Third screenshot: struggling to reach 30 FPS and gun has infinite ammo.

I see they’re keeping up with the AAA standards.
