The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – New Gameplay Footage To Be Revealed Next Week

Last month, we informed you about a ‘behind closed doors’ demo that CD Projekt RED has prepared for the press at this year’s Gamescom. And while the Polish company showed The Witcher 3 to the public at this year’s Comic-Con, there is still no gameplay footage to drool over our monitors. Did CDPR lie about sharing the gameplay Comic-Con demo after the end of that event? Apparently not as the team will reveal that video next week.

As CD Projekt RED informed us, it will release next week the ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ gameplay footage that all of its fans have been asking about during these past days.

CD Projekt RED also revealed that at this year’s Gamescom attendees will be able to enjoy – every 30 minutes – gameplay from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in a special cinema located in its booth (Hall 7.1, Aisle B, No. 32).

Do note that the gameplay that will be shown to its booth will most probably be the same with the Comic-Con demo. Moreover, our guess is that the ‘behind closed doors’ demo will show a different area (otherwise there wouldn’t be any point at having such an event).

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

      1. It’s confirmed XBox ONE’s version won’t be 1080p because the “additional load on shading units would be too much.”

        Not sure about PS4.

          1. i don’t think they going with 1080p, they target that but we will wait and see. but on consoles = high on PC ? i go with medium or lower 😀

          2. Of course. My guess is that they’re aiming at 1080p because resolution is a big topic right now in the industry, but they will have to make a lot of concessions in order to hit that. I’m looking forward to seeing the Witcher 3 at Ultra on my PC 🙂 the Witcher 2 was gorgeous.

  1. which door they are showing it behind this time ? or something like that.
    E3 – behind closed doors
    CC – behind closed doors
    GC – behind closed doors
next week is GamesCom, so another public demo that we can’t see because it’s behind closed doors ? or it will be on their youtube channel but behind the closed channel that nobody can see ?
to be fair i think this game will be great just like it’s predecessor even if they don’t show anything more, but come on CDPR,i’m dying to see that 30min gameplay video.

    1. There is even more to that image if you look closer and have read the books or know about what happened to her at the battle of Sodden Hill. I’m almost 100% positive you can see healed burns differentiation from her other skin in that pic.

    1. B.S. there is plenty more to them than that, if you have played them and understand what’s going on.

      1. i played both the witchers games and finished all endings and understood what is going on. the series is epic and there is a lot going on but it has it’s weaknesses as well. it is my opinion of course.

also when i say half i mean it in a way that it was used as a mean to advertise the game indirectly. now it doesn’t need any of that anymore but it is part of the game’s identity otherwise obviously it is not 50% solid part of the game although that would be interesting in it’s own way 😕 😀

hopefully with Yennefer around they focus more on characteristics of some female characters.

        1. It’s cool. I mistook that post, obviously. They do seem to use that sied for some of their marketing and hey, at the end of the day – Sex sells. I admit that I hate seeing it and it makes me cringe a ta only because I respect CDPR and love the games so much.

Yeah definitely. With Yen finally debuting there should be a lot of development and I’d imagine turmoil. between Geralt,Triss and Yennefer! HAHA no doubt.

    1. TY for the info. I’ll probably check it out. The good news for me personally is how so far a few Xbox exclusives are making it to PC. Nothing wrong with that, more games, the better, As long as they aren’t horrible ports.
