Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity that focuses on the new game engine (an evolution of AnvilNext) that will be powering it. Therefore, in this trailer, creative director Alex Amancio presents us the technological leap that this new AC title will offer. Assassin’s Creed: Unity will pack a redesigned game engine, refined fighting skills and combat system, as well as a breathtaking atmosphere. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Looks Awesome! i can’t wait anymore! Ubisoft u better not downgrade it!
Rather it is delay than come out buggy or with missing features. Nothing worse than having a game but forced to wait for a patch to make it playable.
ubisoft delays won’t fix a thing but made it worst
iif theyre developing for consoles it will always be held back. thats not their fault.
No worries! We have John and an entire team of modders to take care of that if UBI is plotting a fast one!
It is* overly smokey. Maybe they burned a lot of bodies back then? People died of blinking too much up until 100 years ago.
This looks both serious and great, I must tell you! Hope it will have different difficulty settings, as well so you can not run through it like you could in AC4:Black Flag which had NO difficulty settings. You guys who are into this Twitter, Facebook, Instagram let Ubisoft know this about different difficulty settings. Afterall its a win/win for everybody!
Yes but the gameplay is more dumbed down than ever, what a load of marketing crap. See everything on the map, see enemies though walls, one button to block everything, kill everything easy. There is nothing next-gen about the game, it’s just us PC users have had this tech for a long time and Ubiosft finally is using it but consoles will still use shitty FXAA.
Yeah that’s the real problem here, games getting so easy and mainstream. I don’t really care if I get 50fps instead of 60fps if the game is ruined by making it for the most casual players who play 2 AAA games a year. Give at least the options to make it enjoyable.
I can see two types of visuals there.a high quality one while walking and a low quality while climbing
BLAH BLAH BLAH….new engine, same bad optimization, horrible lighting and hype lies about “next gen” animations and controls.
Come on ubisoft after watchdogs no one believes you.
HUR DUR watchdogs is lead on pc, yet its not optimized for pc nor it controls like a pc game. HUR DUR the delay allowed us to get everything we wanted in the game, yet the gun firing animations are missing, HUR DUR the game will look better than e3 2012.
No one belives you ubisoft.
all i see is a game with 18fps to 40fps even on PC, you can feel bad optimization all over it for all platforms, of course some shiny effects, i loved the hair. but sorry, i rather take a 20hr dump to waste my time on this sh*t
What makes me excited about this game is involvement of Assassin’s Creed Revelation’s director
Ubisoft:By working with Nvidia we manage to deliver you the next-gen 30 FPS!
