The modding team behind the multiplayer mod for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, KCD:MP, has released a new version of it. So, let’s take a look at all its new features.
For those who did not know, KCD:MP (KCD Multiplayer) is a free, fan-made multiplayer mod for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The mod comes with a launcher that starts your own copy of the game. You then pick a server, and you play in the game’s own Bohemia with other people: riding, fighting, roleplaying, and talking over proximity voice chat.
KCD v0.35.0 adds many new features and fixes. The biggest change is better combat sync. Players can now see guards, blocks, parries, and attacks at the right time. Counter attacks also work better, so fights between players feel much more natural.
The update also adds game-native dialogue. Game modes can now use the same style of talks seen in the main game. Players can read lines and pick from up to eight answers.
Player animations have also been improved. Other players can now see you sit, lie down, climb ladders, vault over objects, open doors, pick herbs, dig, butcher animals, and pet horses.
Two story gates are now open and can be used by servers. These include the Malesov gate and the south gate at Trosky Castle.
The launcher also gets many new features. You can pick the game folder, check your game version, hide chat, and get better crash help. It also finds more Steam installs and gives clearer warnings.
Server owners get new tools, too. These include a server status page, better NPC combat, new admin commands, and more control over story areas.
Finally, the update adds Cyrillic support, better chat, ASI mod support, and many crash and gameplay fixes.
