YouTube’s “Leo Torres” has shared a new video, showcasing Ald’ruhn from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in Unreal Engine 5.7 with Lumen and Nanite. This is part of an ongoing project to visualise a more realistic and lore-accurate size to Tamriel’s cities. So, if you are a Morrowind fan, you should definitely check it out.
The artist made this scene in Unreal Engine 5.7.4 using an RTX 3090 GPU. Torres used a mix of third-party models with custom assets he created in Blender. He also used Nanite for all the models and plants, and Lumen for the lighting and reflections. Additionally, he used TSR for anti-aliasing.
For anyone wondering, no, you can’t download this fan-made Morrowind remake. This video was only created for the artist’s portfolio. Torres has also recreated cities and areas from both Skyrim and Oblivion in UE5. You can find links to them here and here.
Now, if you want to try Morrowind in Unreal Engine 5, you can download this fan project. Created by Greg Coulthard, this project ports the entire map of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind to Unreal Engine 5. As such, it can give you a glimpse at what a remastered version of it could look like. So, make sure to download and try it. It’s really cool.
