Megabit Publishing has released a new in-engine trailer for its upcoming mystery survival RPG, Hello Sunshine. This trailer mostly has in-engine cut-scenes. However, it also packs a few seconds of gameplay footage.
In Hello Sunshine, players will have to walk in the shadow of a giant robot during the sweltering days. They will have to stay close to keep warm during the cold nights. Players will be able to scavenge, craft, upgrade, and piece together the broken puzzle of a world ruled by machines that refuse to shut down.
It’s also worth noting that the giant robot will be more than a companion to you. You will be able to enhance it with improved sensors, defensive systems, and mechanical upgrades. You can add decals and personal touches, even a fresh coat of paint.
And that’s not all. At first, the colossus will barely acknowledge you. Over time, though, your bond strengthens. You can assist the robot with repairs, install upgrades, and unlock new ways to interact. In return, the metal giant will aid you on your journey by locating secrets hidden in the desert, lifting you past obstacles, shielding you from threats, and fighting back against hostile war machines.
There is currently no ETA on when Hello Sunshine will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
