Early screenshots & gameplay dev clip leaked for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra

It appears that some screenshots and a gameplay clip from an early dev build of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra have been leaked online. Since these are leaked assets from a dev build, you should temper your expectations. This looks really rough. Still, some Marvel fans may be interested in them, which is why we’ve decided to share them.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is a narrative-driven action-adventure game. Throughout the game, players will control four characters. The two Marvel heroes will be Black Panther (who is actually T’Challa’s grandfather) and Captain America. The other two are unknown characters. These are US soldier Gabriel Jones and Nanali, a Wakandan spy.

In these new leaked screenshots and gameplay clip, we see Black Panther entering a lounge entrance and fighting some enemies. As I said, this gameplay clip is from a dev build. And, as you will see, it looks really rough. This obviously wasn’t meant to be ever released to the public.

Before calling it awful, this is exactly what most games look like during development. The game will not look like this when it comes out. The animations will also be polished. So, there is no point complaining about such things.

There is currently no ETA on when Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will come out. Marvel Games was planning to release it in 2025. However, we can now safely assume that it won’t come out until 2026 or even 2027.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. The design art style looks cool. The premise seems interesting, but we all know the developers can't help themselves. I just know there is some dumb shoehorned in Racism story and black this and black that.

    woke really does ruin everything

    1. I mean, that's literally why black panther was created… During the civil rights movement as a counter to all of superherodom being exclusively white at the time. I swear you people with your anti-woke complaints don't even understand what you're complaining about 🤦

    2. They want the game to sell and while there might be 1 or 2 mentions to acknowledge the period I doubt it'll be a significant to the story.

  2. There's potential for this to be something cool but I feel like we shouldnt have known about the game for this long without knowing what the gameplay is going be by this point. I'd just like to know what the gameplay is going to consist of so i can know whether to avoid it or not. Been waiting for cap decent cap game for years. Actually if they can do something as cool as Guardians of the Galaxy was as a wholly single player and focused expansive narrative then i'd get pretty hype.
