Nioh 3 gameplay video shows off the Takeda Shingen Boss Fight

IGN has shared a new gameplay video for Nioh 3, showcasing a boss battle featuring the Tiger of Kai, Takeda Shingen. So, if you are a Nioh fan, you should definitely check it out.

Nioh 3 takes place in a large open world where players can explore freely. Just like in the older Nioh games, there is a lot of tension and danger in every corner, making each moment feel exciting and intense.

In this game, you will battle powerful monsters called yokai. These enemies are tough and will challenge your skills in every fight. You’ll also visit spooky villages where strange and suspicious creatures are hiding, waiting to surprise you.

One of the biggest challenges in the game is a special area called The Crucible. This place is made for the most daring players. It has hard battles and strong enemies that will really test your strength and bravery.

In Nioh 3, players can choose between two cool fighting styles: Samurai and Ninja. Each style has its own strengths. The Samurai style is strong and powerful, while the Ninja style is fast and sneaky. You can switch between these two styles anytime you want during a battle. This lets you adjust your fighting style based on the enemies you’re facing or the level you’re exploring.

The Samurai style in Nioh 3 feels a lot like the gameplay from the earlier Nioh games. But this time, there are some exciting new features.

One of the new moves is called “Arts Proficiency”. This makes your martial arts attacks stronger. Another new move is called “Deflect”. With this, you can block an enemy’s attack right at the last second. If you time it just right, you can stay safe and even turn the fight in your favor.

These new actions will make battles more intense, more dangerous, and way more exciting — especially when you’re face-to-face with a strong enemy.

On the other hand, the Ninja style will be all about fast moves and quick thinking. Ninjas are great at dodging attacks and jumping through the air. They can stay out of the enemy’s reach and strike from a safe distance using special moves called Ninjutsu.

Players can use different Ninjutsu techniques depending on what’s happening in the fight. One move is called “Mist”, which leaves behind a fake copy of the ninja after an attack to confuse enemies. Another move is “Evade”, which lets you dodge an enemy’s strike at the last second.

These tricks will help you stay safe while sneaking around enemies and hitting them with fast, powerful attacks from behind.

KOEI Tecmo will release the PC version alongside the PS5 version in 2026.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. I can't tell what's going on, low IQ devs are assaulting my eyes with too many visual effects, it's so disgusting…just like other g00k games.

  2. I played Nioh one and two but I do not like the diablo-like loot system. Does not matter if it is Diablo, Borderlands or Nioh, I just do not like picking up weapons after weapons with a slightly different number attached to them.
