SmileGate and Tencent have announced a new first-person horror game in the universe of CrossFire, CrossFire: Rainbow. Developed by Linlangtianshang, this game aims to blend tactical shooting with terrifying supernatural elements.
According to the game’s description, when something unstoppable comes out of the shadows, the battlefield turns into a nightmare. In this game, you’ll explore creepy locations, face terrifying enemies, and experience a disturbing twist. Sometimes, the enemy will be your own reflection.
Sadly, we don’t have any other information about this new CrossFire game. From what I can see, the game is most likely using Unreal Engine 5. Or at least that’s the vibes I got from the trailer.
Graphics-wise, I like everything I see here. Moreover, this is a proper gameplay trailer. Nothing in this trailer seems “unrealistic” or “CG fake”. Yes, there is a possibility this is a heavily scripted trailer. But this falls in line with what you’d expect to see from a UE5 game.
There is currently no ETA on when CrossFire: Rainbow will come out. Tencent hasn’t even launched a Steam or Epic Games Store page for it yet. All we’ve gotten so far is this trailer.
Enjoy!

..
Is that from the same franchise as CrossfireX?
You know, that game financed by Microsoft as an Xbox-exclusive and never released on PC which had a single-player campaign developed by no other than Remedy.
Microsoft sure seems to take their gaming legacy seriously, which is why they still can't be @rsed to release Gears of War 2 & 3 on PC after all those years…
Crossfire has been an iP for almost 2 decades.
I'm just surprised by all the spin-offs.
For the reason that the admin of this site is working, no uncertainty very quickly it will be renowned, due to its quality contents.
(((Rainbow)))
Probably an early red flag for what this product is gonna have inside it.
probably not that deep. just using a term they saw on a western FPS title while staying legally distinct.
Mobile too.
Will this be free to play?
