Kepler Interactive has released Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on PC and although it supports DLSS 4 Super Resolution, it does not support DLSS 4 Frame Gen. So, today we have both good and bad news for all RTX 40 and 50 series owners out there.
The good news is that a DLSS 4 Frame Gen Mod has just been released. That bad news is that it’s behind a Patreon wall.
Created by PureDark, this mod adds support for DLSS 4 Frame Gen. Moreover, the modder is looking into bringing support for Multi-Frame Gen.
Regarding DLSS 4 Super Resolution, NVIDIA has finally updated its app. As such, you can now use it to force the Transformer Model. So, make sure to use the NVIDIA App to enable DLSS 4.
Again, I don’t know why the devs have not implemented support for Frame Gen. Not only that, but the game does not support AMD FSR 3.0. Instead, it supports TSR and Intel XeSS. This means that AMD owners will have to rely on Intel XeSS. NVIDIA owners, on the other hand, can try both DLSS and XeSS (and use the one they like).
To download this DLSS 4 Mod, you’ll have to join PureDark’s Patreon. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to download the mod via his Discord server.
Another must-have mod for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is this one. Created by Lyall, this mod removes the 30FPS cap from the cut-scenes. It will also remove the sharpening filter, and it will disable the letterboxing/pillarboxing in cutscenes. Plus, it fixes some FOV issues when using ultrawide resolutions. So, make sure to get it as it can greatly improve your gaming experience. Oh, and contrary to the DLSS 4 Mod, this one is free.
Speaking of Frame Generation Mods, you might also want to check these out. For instance, you can download these free DLSS 3 Mods for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Dying Light 2, Elden Ring and Lies of P. Then we have the FSR 3.0 mods for Palworld and Dead Space Remake. Sadly, these mods are still behind a Patreon wall. Last year, we also shared DLSS 3 Frame Generation Mods for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, and Dragon’s Dogma 2. Finally, we have the DLSS 3 Mods for Baldur’s Gate 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Have fun!

Puredark is a moron and you need to stay subscribed to use his mode. And they broke as soon as an update is released.
Stop giving this guy exposure.
or capp the game to 60 on your 120hz monitor and use lossless scaling 3.0 x2 fixed.
Might not be the best idea to use latency-increasing technologies given how timing-heavy the game's defense mechanics are.
Lsfg can be better than nothing but only just in some games. It struggles in games with a third person perspective like this one. Smooth motion is considerably better and DLSS FG is even better still.
I see that (((PureDark))) is backing at scamming people off with its cheap, half-assed, 5 minute paint job DLSS mods.

Luckily, there's already something called LSFG that not only works for every single PC game, but for emulators as well if you have a brain to not make this Jew steal your shekels.
Imagine paying for a mod, i pirated a DLSS mod for my pirated copy of Dying Light 2 but it was horrible so i uninstalled it.
Am I missing something but why aren't people using Optiscaler?
I’d wager this gets officially added within a year given the game’s success. And as much as I’d like to play it now, I know it will be cheaper and in a better state next year, and my backlog is so huge it is sensible to wait.
