Modder ‘Safemilk‘ has released some new comparison screenshots between the vanilla and the RTX Remaster Mod for Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. These screenshots will give you a glimpse at this highly anticipated mod’s current state. So, let’s take a look at them.
In these screenshots, the modder focuses on the diner environments. Right now, Safemilk has completed 49% of the Diner Props and 65% of the Diner Environment Textures.
In other words, there is still a work of work to be done. Still, the new textures and materials look phenomenal. I know, I know, it will take a while until we get our hands on a newer version of this mod. But then you have to remind yourself that this is made by one person. So, cut him some slack.
This RTX Remix Remaster Mod is among the best we’ve seen so far. You can try an older version of it, however, you should temper your expectations. That was an Alpha Version that came out in November 2024. Still, if you are curious about it, you can go ahead and download it.
In 2024, we shared a lot of RTX Remix Mods for various games. In January 2023, we shared several RTX Remix Mods that are in the works. As such, you can take a look at screenshots and videos for Tomb Raider 2, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Manhunt, and Garfield Kart RTX Remix. Then, in February 2024, we shared videos for Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Unreal, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 and Midnight Club 2. In March 2024, we also shared the first screenshots from the RTX Remix Mod for Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Finally, you can check out some early RTX Remix videos and screenshots for Fallout: New Vegas, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, COD 2, and Half-Life.
Speaking of Path Tracing Mods for older titles, you might also want to check out the following ones. Modders released demos for their Path Tracing Mods for Deus Ex, Tomb Raider, and Call of Duty 4. Do note that the COD4 Mod is a “proof of concept” demo, and it does not look that great. Let’s also not forget the RTX Remix for COD: WoW. And then we have the RTX Remix Mods for Painkiller, NFS: Underground, Underground 2. Oh, and don’t forget to give a go at this RTX Remix for Unreal Tournament 2004. In September 2024, we also shared a new version of the RTX Remix Mod for Max Payne. Finally, you can download Path Tracing Mods for Doom, Doom 2, Quake, and Serious Sam.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

can they fix the combat as well?
No man, the only thing these people care about is polishing turds. They aren't interesting in the core of why we play games. Can't wait to see RTX Pong.
So many RTX Mods, and almost none of them is finished, the whole hype vanished.
The only RTX Remix mod that was successful was Portal RTX (Quake 2 was Nvidia gig outside RTX Remix program).
Which is sad, because we are in the 4th generation of RT Cards.
This one seems to be promising though.
The team really wants to see the project through.

You didn't need "RTX" to do this. It's called texture Modding. Y'all must think people are FUQIN stupid. Yes, we are suppose to believe you turn RTX on to some 360p textured and they look shiny spanking new.
This isn't just texture modding; you need the RTX Remix framework to be able to also insert materials on meshes with a PBR (Physically-Based Rendering) makeover, which is what's making these updated textures look as good as they do.
This was brought up by a user here in the comment section.
Don't remember which post, but I saw it here.
John, pay the fee to the lad!

Me, I guess? 😇👍
You, indeed!

We always include the user who suggested a story, unless we already have plans to cover it. In this case, we always intended to cover it (even though "Megadrive Girl" suggested it). I don't believe Megadrive Girl has an issue with this as I've mentioned him/her/them in other stories he/she/they have brought to my attention.
Ikr?!
I was just teasing you, lad!
"him/her/them – he/she/they"
LMAO
