Gearbox Publishing has just announced a new single-player 3D platformer that will be coming to PC in Summer 2024, called RKGK / Rakugaki. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher shared the game’s debut trailer which you can find below.
To be honest, I was a bit disappointed by this trailer. You see, this is a cinematic trailer and does not feature any gameplay sequences at all. And that’s a shame because its Steam store page has some in-game screenshots. As such, I’ve also decided to include them. After all, these screenshots will give you a better idea of what you can expect from it than its debut trailer.
In this game, players will chain together jumps, dashes, glides, and grinds. Thus, they’ll be able to reach the perfect flow state in Defacer mode – where Valah’s world becomes her animated wonderland. You’ll also be able to master routes and speed through levels as you take down Mr. Buff’s cronies with style.
Moreover, players will be able to break through enemies, overload their senses, and take back control. In this game, you’ll control Valah and you’ll be able to use her paint abilities for stylish traversal, chaotic mayhem, and leaving your vibrant mark on every corner of Cap City.
It’s also worth noting that the game won’t require a high-end PC system. According to the devs, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 or Intel Arc A750 should be enough to run it.
Enjoy!
