Sony has revealed the official PC system requirements for Helldivers 2. In addition, the team has shared the first PC trailer for it, so be sure to watch it.
Helldivers 2 is a third-person squad-based shooter. The game will support cross-play between the PC and PS5. Moreover, it will require 100GB of free disk space, and it will require a PSN account even on the PC.
For gaming at 1080p/30fps on Low Settings, PC gamers will need an Intel Core i7-4790K or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 470. To hit 1080p/60fps on Medium Settings, you’ll need an Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.
For gaming at 1440p/60fps on High Settings, Sony recommends using an Intel Core i5-12600K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800. And finally, for 4K/60fps on Ultra Settings, you’ll need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX.
Sony will release Helldivers 2 on PC on February 8th. Since this is mostly an online game, we may not cover it. After all, the game won’t have a traditional single-player mode (though you will be able to play it solo).

I wonder how the game will run on PS5, because on PC for 1440p60 High you need a much better and faster PC, and I don’t know why, because this game doesn’t even look that good, Gears 5 or even 4 are looking far better than this.
Additionally, this game puts a lot of emphasis on online play, don’t be suprised if this is another GaaS game hiddem under cloak, with store, Battlepass and other crap released after a month or two, when the reviews are gone.
Even if it is a Gaas game, Sony obviously will tell you that’s is not.

If it’s like the first game but with different camera, I know I’m going to have fun with this one. I hope they tuned down the Communist Cyborgs faction a little, they were overwhelming and too fast.
I haven’t see any mechas or vehicles in any trailer and that makes me sad, I hope they implement them in the future.
The crossplay addition will help the game to stay alive longer than the first one, which crossplay was only between PS4 and PSV, not PC.
