Nexon has released an official pre-alpha gameplay video for its upcoming PvPvE extraction shooter, Arc Raiders. And while this trailer is a bit short, it can at least give you a glimpse at what this new shooter will look like.
Arc Raiders is a third-person, PVPVE extraction shooter, set in a lethal future earth. The game promises to have hair-raising moments of survival and suspense. Or at least that’s what its devs claim.
Arc Raiders will be developed by Embark Studios. For those unaware, Embark is the team behind THE FINALS. And, since THE FINALS is powered by Unreal Engine 5, we can also assume that Arc Raiders will be using Epic’s latest engine.
Arc Raiders will be a free-to-play title. It doesn’t currently have an ETA on when it will come out, however, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy!

Studios haven’t realized yet that this genre fad is dying.

FantasticVideo (NOT)
I played the tech test and it’s basically a extraction shooter with some cool mechanics and tech. For example, the NPC themselves are AI-selftaught on how to navigate the environment etc.
The dealbreaker is that it’s 3rd person. You can just hide and wait for the right moment to strike (shoulder peeking), and yeah, Nexon.
