Warner Bros has released a new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 that focuses on the Lin Kuei clan. This trailer features the iconic ninjas Sub-Zero and Scorpion, and introduces Smoke and Rain (who will also be playable in this new MK game).
As the press release reads, Smoke is a fellow member of the ancient warrior clan with a mastery of stealth and practical magic. With deep ties to Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Smoke has made the clan’s mission his own and joins his Lin Kuei brethren in defense of Earthrealm.
On the other hand, Rain is the High Mage of Outworld who has honed his craft of water magic into a fierce weapon and now hopes to learn the realms’ darkest and most powerful sorcery.
This Lin Kuei trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 also showcases Sektor, Cyrax, Frost, and Scorpion as Cameo fighters.
Warner Bros will release Mortal Kombat 1 on September 19th. Do note that NetherRealm won’t be developing the PC version in-house. Instead, QLOC will be responsible for it. You can also find here the game’s official PC system requirements.
Lastly, Mortal Kombat 1 won’t support crossplay at launch. However, NetherRealm claims that it will add both crossplay and cross-progression to the game via a post-launch update.
Enjoy!

Looks good, but too bad it will be loaded with DRM, microTRANNYaction and all things content drip. Hard pass indeed.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
G4yest Smoke ever!
Mortal Cuckbat ftw.
John, I don’t know why you shared that crappy link when the 4K version is available on the official MK Youtube channel. You should really update this article with the better video.
Just go watch the video and get a life.
