Just a few minutes before Summer Game Fest 2023, YouTube leaked a new Prince of Persia game, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. And, to be honest, its cover really put me off. On the other hand, its debut trailer which has just aired at Keighley’s show, looks kind of OK. And the music that Ubisoft used in the trailer is… yikes. Oh boy…
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown appears to feature a 2D perspective but 3D models. The game will release in January 2024. And in case you’re wondering, no. This isn’t the Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time Remake.
Ubisoft will reveal more about this new Prince of Persia game at the Ubisoft Forward June 2023 event!

You can have 2D, or 3D with perspective projection, or isometric projection.
This game is just a side-scroller, but still in 3D ( with perspective projection )
