A couple of days ago, the “GB_2 Development Team” released the seventh major update for its NoVR Mod for Half-Life: Alyx. This new patch comes with a lot of bug fixes and introduces some new features that we’ll detail below.
Update #7 updates more ladders with a new animation. And while this is great news, not all of the game’s ladders have been updated. So yeah, expect to see the game’s default teleportation in some of them. Players can also expect a new Half-Life Alyx-inspired HUD.
This update also adjusts the shotgun puzzle by making the wheel easier to use. Moreover, it adds inverted mouse support, as well as a Quicksave Tutorial.

- Added various dialog that was not triggering such as when Alyx picks up a Floppy Disk for the first time

This entire mod is broken as sht. Gave it a try and lol! game logic stopped working when that w*nker throws Alyx a magazine for the pistol. Nothing happened. Couldn’t load the weapon. Other tons of issues along the way. Just buy a VR headset and return it until 14 days passed.
Oh i thought it would be pretty much ready, was thinking about giving it a try…

Give it a try, didn’t had what this guy had, of course this is clunky and not as polished as you can hope, but it’s playable and it will certainly get better with time
Its a mod, released for free by fans that want other without VR to enjoy the game, if you cannot say thanks to them, then dont play it. Or maybe you want to try made another similar and much better mod yourself, than made and released it and we will appreciate your work. But until then just please STFU.
