YouTube’s ‘John GodGames Emus’ has shared a video, showcasing the Playstation 4 emulator, fpPS4, booting and going in-game in a number of PS4 games.
Now as we’ve said and before, the emulator is still unable to boot any triple-A PS4 game. Still, it’s remarkable witnessing its progress. The fact that it can at least run some 2D and simple 3D games is already incredible.
fpPS4 is the fourth Playstation 4 emulator that is currently in development. The other three are Kyty, Spine and GPCS4.
Those interested can download fpPS4 from here or here. The emulator requires a 64bit operating system, an x64 CPU that supports AVX2, and a GPU that supports the Vulkan API.
Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Talking of emulators, one of the guys involved in the production of the recently released Atari 50 has just been allowed to release a phenomenally good Atari Jaguar emulator.

Games that originally targeted 60fps but failed to achieve it on the actual console now run at a locked 60fps. The options to boost internal rendering resolution, use post-processing effects, use HDR, use per-game settings and configure controllers (including rotary controllers for Tempest 2000!) mean that Jag emulation has never looked or played so good! He’s also hoping to add Jaguar CD and JagLink capabilities in future updates.
I’ve been having a blast playing the likes of Tempest 2000, Alien vs Predator, Super Burnout, Atari Karts, Breakout 2000, Protector SE, BattleSphere Gold, Power Drive Rally, Missile Command 3D, Total Carnage, Soccer Kid and the guilty pleasure that is Ultra Vortek.
Thanks for sharing. I read many of your blog posts, cool, your blog is very good.
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
