A few days ago, we shared an off-camera video featuring the first ten minutes of The Callisto Protocol. And here is today a new direct-feed video in glorious 4K quality, featuring the game’s first 30 minutes. Since this is a direct-feed video, it can give you a better idea of what you can expect from the game’s graphics.
My guess is that KRAFTON will soon take down this video, so be sure to watch it while it’s still online.
The Callisto Protocol is a new story-driven, single-player survival horror game from the creators of Dead Space. In this game, players will assume the role of Jacob. Jacob will be able to use ‘GRP’ abilities to push and pull things toward him. Additionally, the game will feature both ranged combat and melee.
The game is using Unreal Engine 4 and the PC version will most likely support Ray Tracing effects. As we’ve already reported, PC gamers should expect ray-traced shadows and ray-traced reflections. Or at least that’s what the developers have implied.
KRAFTON will release The Callisto Protocol on December 2nd. You can also find here the game’s official PC system requirements.

I don’t know, sometimes introductions drag for too long, like Final Fantasy 13.
Back when FF13 came out it was AMAZING, jaw dropping amazing, i still remember that.
Haven’t played otehr games in the 13 series, but the first one I actually finished, it was an experience,,,
And the start of the downhill, they made the battle system play itself and now in latest games you press one button to play the game

The same and exact formula as Dead Space in everything, the intro is pretty cool, but it looks like the game is going to become quickly boring, with the syndrome of do this do that, plus sh*t scripted events. This is what i get from the video, it’s just Dead Space with a skin.
at least dead space had unique visuals, this is so generic might as well call it the expanse.
You pretty much just summed up almost every game out there that gets made. In fact, maybe you should just give up playing games since its the same tried and true formula that bores you to death. Its not just about the game, its the story behind the game and the chars you are playing and learning about. SMH!!!
You are telling me that this new formula is great?? I will watch a movie instead, you know. I want GAMEPLAY. To feel immersed with GAMEPLAY, yeah the graphics, audio etc are important but… This dude has the character of the probably most played videogame of history. Not even one cutscene. Just pure raw gameplay. And a gameplay so free that people could improvise with it. See, that’s the big difference. Remember gow? The PS2 games. Pure raw gameplay. See now. A soy soap opera. Tshh…
I feel that the developers are getting short of ideas.
This is the best type of game, i love it, Dead Space trilogy was amazing.
More RPG elements, more pauses to tell a story, its not dumb game where you just go forward and kill everyone, it tells a story.
So nothing wrong with pauses and cut scenes, this doesn’t remove the value of gameplay
