System Shock Remake gets a new gamescom 2022 in-engine trailer

Prime Matter has released the gamescom 2022 in-engine trailer for System Shock Remake. Developed by Nightdive Studios, this remake promises to be true to the original game that came out in 1994.

System Shock is a remake of the beloved PC classic, and will be using Unreal Engine 4. The remake will feature updated mechanics, graphics, and enemy A.I.

From what we know so far, the game will support NVIDIA’s DLSS tech. Moreover, Prime Matter still plans to release this game in 2022.

  1. So this game started on Kickstarter with a target release date of “December 2017.” They have since squandered $1.3 million of Kickstarter funding and had to sign with Prime Matter because they were broke apparently. I have very, very low expectations for this.
