PC system requirements for the H.R. Giger-inspired game, SCORN

Ebb Software has revealed the official PC system requirements for its upcoming H.R. Giger-inspired game, SCORN. According to the team, the game will be using the DX12 API, and will require 50GB of free hard-disk space.

SCORN is a new first-person adventure game that is heavily inspired by H.R. Giger’s work. In this game, every location will contain its own theme (story), puzzles and characters that are integral in creating a cohesive world. Throughout the game, players will open up new areas. Players will also acquire different skill sets, weapons, various items and try to comprehend the sights presented to them.

Ebb Software has listed the AMD Ryzen 3 3300X and Intel Core i5-8400 as the minimum required CPUs. Additionally, PC gamers will need 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 in order to run it.

SCORN will release in October 2022. We can also assume that the game will be shown today during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022 event.

  1. Yeah, but airbrushed art (atomizer) looks sh|tty today. Probably the reason why many in the industry do not use avant-garde from the 1800s. ?

  2. While it’s not wrong to say its inspired by Giger, it seems to be more inspired by Zdzis?aw Beksi?ski. Giger was into mixing flesh and metal, while Beksi?ski’s work was all about flesh and bones. I recommend checking out some of his work.
