God of War appears to be the best-selling Sony game on the PC so far. The game came out on January 14th and according to SteamSpy, it has sold at least 2 million copies on PC.
SteamSpy estimates that the game has sold between two and five million copies. Do note that SteamSpy only shows estimates for a game’s sales (based on the number of players who own a game). Also note that SteamSpy only tracks public profiles, meaning that those with private profiles (that own the game) are not counted. Therefore, and theoretically, the actual PC sales may be higher than two million. Let’s also not forget that God of War is available via other PC digital services, like Epic Games Store.
Now we are not saying that the game has sold 4 or 5 million. However, and according to these stats, it has definitely sold at least 2 million copies.
So, in just a month, the PC version of God of War has managed to hit its 2 million goal. This may explain why Sony considers GoW a big success on PC. It’s also worth noting that Santa Monica and Jetpack Interactive have already released six patches for this game.

well rumors say that there was supposed to be a port years ago but it was canceled due to the success of demon souls on ps5 so they gonna release it for ps5 first, just like they anounched uncharted 4 for pc but released it for ps5 and dont anounce when the pc version will come. Out of the leaked list of sony games on pc, ghost of weebishuma is there not bloodborne though, of spiderman. Horizon forbidden west is there too but you propably wont see it for a t least a year.
They are probably hoping to sell the same game twice. First on console and later on PC.

I tend to interpret a 10/10 rating as meaning ‘as good as it gets’ rather than ‘perfect’. It’s subjective, of course. Those I’d class as being 10/10 to me would be the likes of Defender (arcade), Llamatron (ST), Sensible World of Soccer (Amiga/ST/PC), Tempest 2000 (Jaguar), Tetris DX (GBC), Soulcalibur (Dreamcast), Lumines (PSP), OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast (PC, modded), Skyrim (PC, modded) and Rez (PC in VR).

The enemy variety is awful. Some bosses look like re-skinned basic enemies. Got really bored of the combat and the father/son dialogue. God of War 3 Remastered is the better game overall.

In my opinion this result is soooo exaggerated, but it’s certainly in the top 50 in my opinion…. I’m playing it and as a vote I give it a 9….but there is much better around and many titles are in the same roaster of the IGN ranking….in my opinion the best game of all time, the one that made history and amazed everyone when it came out is Street Fighter II, for second place I choose Super Mario Bros, almost tied.
Third place is for GTA V of course! A true cultural phenomenon!

I bought it on PS4 after I finished it on PSNow… don’t even have a PS4 but just wanted to own a copy. Naturally I bought it on pc too but dunno when I’ll play it. It’s in my personal top 5. GTA IV is in my top 3. Will finally play gta v this year (have owned it for 5 years now!).

Sometimes it’s nice to play some game that has a good story to tell and is masterfully directed like GOW…
You don’t always need to play the usual open world with huge maps but with boring quests and side-quests all the same and repetitive! (Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed primarily)
GOW excels at this…you turn off your brain and let yourself be told a good story!
It’s like watching a movie, but you control it!
The direction is phenomenal … the shots of the cutscenes….the physics and the power of the Kratos hits with every punch you give is like to be a lion in heat!
For me it’s a beautiful game…worth 9!
