  1. Interesting enough to give it try. They added a lot of extras which may make it have less a tactile feel than HL2. I wish someone could make tau jumping better like in HL1 and add bunnyjump lol – and give the npc’s the same ability.

  2. ” over 50 weapons”

when are you gonna use that, hl2 isnt combat heavy.

    “3d scopes”

am i the only one who hates those? They are so disorienting.

also the slow mo is the typical mod slow mo, just slows down time, its not that simple you have to make the player faster than the enemies in order to work like fear and max payne.

    1. Blame Valve.

The original design language for Half-Life 2 up to Left 4 Dead was all about limited weapons. Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal, Left 4 Dead – very few guns. It was about your interaction with the environment.

Then the Team Fortress 2 updates and Left 4 Dead 2 decided to discard that old design language for “more is more”. And that’s when I stopped being a Valve fan. Not like I’ve missed any games.

    2. “just slows down time, its not that simple you have to make the player faster than the enemies in order to work like fear and max payne.”

That makes a easy game already a cakewalk.

      1. then dont make slow mo? I mean why does this game has over 50 weapons? its too easy already and ai is pathetic.

  3. This mod makes Half-Life 2 becomes just like Call of Duty but in steroids. To be honest the idea is not bad but way more overcharged with nonsense, bring old aliens from old games and cut contents was pretty enough.

  4. I feel like most of these features are overkill or just useless.
The MMOD only was already enough. (check it out on moddb)
I’m more excited by the upcoming new version of “Half-Life 2 Update”.
Please make a story about it when it comes out!

    1. that’s updated only for the steamdeck consoletard peasants. so that it runs better on their filthy handheld cuckdeck peasantry toys. happening cancelled

      1. There’s comments in your Disqus where you speak english and not this fake internet ebonics bs. F R A U D

  5. Look like a nice SMOD variant
Why are tards comparing this to MMOD? This isn’t supposed to be a vanilla like experience.

  6. I think these guys have missed the point of the Half-Life gameplay, there’s no need for ADS or 3D scopes or 50+ weapons. It’s all about the environment.

  7. Half-Life 2 now looks “overcharged”! I mean some things are overdone, but cool nonetheless!
MMOD does a lot of what is shown here…but new mods are always welcome!

  8. Please give us HL2 remake in Source Engine 2 – now that would be great. I mean just look at Black Mesa, yes it took an eternity before they released the final version, but what a superb job it was. One of the best remakes in my opinion just like RE2 remake.
