YouTube’s ‘Nixian’ has shared two videos, showcasing the evolution of Horizon Zero Dawn. These videos feature every build of the game, from its 2011/2012 prototypes to its final version. And, to be honest, I absolutely love this kind of videos.
There is something truly mesmerizing watching the prototype versions of games that are already out. Moreover, it can give you a glimpse of a game’s development (and its changes) throughout the years.
As we can clearly see, Aloy had a completely different character model at the beginning. Not only that, but there were some features in the prototype builds that did not were canned.

yes she was attractive show they made her uglier and now they make them even uglier in the sequel.
Whos cares if a digital character is attractive or not? Not all characters are attractive, digital or otherwise.
It matters because you can literally make it the way you want since they are fictional creations, but making a ugly female protagonist goes in line with today’s agenda, these prototype videos are proof of that since they are from a time were feminism wasn’t infecting entertainment everywhere. It was done on purpose in service of propaganda, dev words, not mine.
Luckily you can mod her ugo look, but the game is not worth the effort.

This game could have been really different. If they had just chosen a different voice actress, it would have done wonders.
This is why i more enjoying playing old games (ps1-ps3 and PC pre-2015 era) than this modern graphics stronk independent bulky muscle wahmen…
I’m doing the same thing for now. I’m playing PC games from the 1990s through the mid 2000s that I didn’t have time for back then. Now that I’ve taken early retirement I can spend much more time gaming. There are so many quality, fun old classics out there that can be had for a couple of dollars on a sale. They are not for gamers that think that graphics is the most important thing in a games value though.
Every true gamer need to do this. Sadly new games from the outside looks fantastic but rotting from the inside.
Emulation bring me so many good moments last year, to the point that i just don’t care even about pirating AAA games.

There is some part of the game , don’t remember which ,but it told that the woman from where aloy was cloned , Elisabeth could be a maniac , who killed litle animals and was told by her mother not to do it ,but yea political sh*t all over this game , and that sh*t is driving me off game , more and more , for example 2021 i only bought 1 game resident evil 8
