Spencer joined us in early 2015, previously a console centric gamer he switched to PC a few years ago. He later helped push for an increase in Japanese content on PC with the #SEGAPCPorts campaign. Previously he ran a SEGA fansite as well as co-hosted a gaming podcast. He thinks Duke Nukem 3D is the best FPS of all time, his text message alert on his phone is literally Duke Nukem saying “Let God sort ’em out.”

Isn’t that most platforms though? Genesis has a lot of great games. But most games on any platform I can think of are crap, some the ratio is particularly bad (mobile).
In all the history of video games, the only console I can think of which has a ratio of 95% GREAT games was the Neo-Geo.
I’m such a fan that there’s not even ONE game which I really hate on this platform.
Among the worst ones, I guess there were :
– Super Spy
– Legend of success Joe
– All of the stupid Quiz or Mahjong games
Even the average fighting games like the very first Fatal Fury can be enjoyed, and it’s not comparable to the most terrible games we could find on Megadrive or Super Nintendo.
This is why I consider the Neo-Geo the best console of all-time, even if my favorite are still Megadrive and Super-Nintendo, thanks to their timeless megahits.
